Maria V. Snyder ~ Poison Study Pictures, Images and Photos

Our next auction for Leave a Mark is Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder.
If you have not heard of this book or want to know, again, what it’s about…then go here!

This book not only looks great, but Maria marked up it up fantastically…so if you are interested, please bid! Remember: ALL the money goes to First Book!

If this is your first time at the auctions, here are the rules:

** HOW TO BID: Leave a comment on this post with the amount you want to bid for. The Leave a Mark page on First Book is ONLY for the winner…if you bid the most, you donate through that site that amount and I will mail you the book.

**The first person who bids has to START at five dollars, so each book will sell for at least that much. If you want to bid above that, it has to go up in fifty cent increments, so people aren’t going up by a penny or a dime.

Ex. Starts at five dollars, will go to five fifty, will go to six dollars, etc.

**We will give a loose finishing date for each book being auctioned, but it might change, so just keep checking the blog and make sure when it has ended or not. This will help us and you in the long run!

** ALL PROCEEDS will go to First Book, so keep that in mind!!
They have a page set up for us as well, where you will donate your money if you are the highest bidder. You can also feel free to donate aside from the auction, if you’d just like to help out First Book. The site is here: Leave a Mark Site!

** If you’re the winner, we’ll send you more information. But make sure to check back to see who wins, or leave a way for us to contact you!

Get bidding!

  1. Midnight east coast time was several hours ago, but if they stick with the original deadline then I’ll match that since it’s for charity.

If it does get extended, then I hope it goes late enough for me to check in again after I wake up. 🙂

  2. I know the feeling about hoping you get a second chance at it (or a first in my case). I really love this author and have been waiting for this book to go on auction since I read about it in her newsletter. Either way, the money’s going to a great cause too, which is wonderful!

  3. I think my last comment got eaten! Here’s what I tried to post:

I don’t think it’s super fair to set up such a specific deadline and change that up after the fact, especially because so many people were interested in this. But… I’d still like to know if bids are still being accepted.

  4. The date hasn’t been changed! It always was and still is TONIGHT at Midnight EST.

You still have all day today to keep bidding.

Sorry if there was any confusion…?
    Thanks for bidding everyone.

    -Lauren

  5. Oooh, Good to know I still have time! And no, it wouldn’t have been fair to change it at the last minute, I agree.
    Thanks for the correction!

I haven’t a clue. All I know is, I have to go. I’m actually at work right now – had to run up to the front at work to use the internet because it was down throughout the building. *sigh*

  7. I’m going to stop bidding because it’s really not fair to keep running the bid up forever after midnight. If my midnight bid is chosen then I’ll match whatever was highest to this point because it’s a really good charity.

  8. Goodnight! And no matter what happens, they’re getting a pretty solid donation, which is the important part. Hopefully even a lot of us who don’t win will still make a contribution.
