If you’re in the U.S. and celebrate, Happy Thanksgiving. I’m not really a fan of the holiday, but my family usually sees a movie at some point so I’m excited about that. Whether you celebrate or not, Black Friday deals are going to be bombarding us if we venture online today, so I thought I’d help out by sharing a couple other gift guides.

Advent Calendars and Gift Sets
When people use the word Advent, they might think of religions, but these days, they really can just be a fun countdown to Christmas…which is great, especially if you have children in your life! Therefore, I thought I’d share some of the fun advent calendars I saw online, in case you aren’t up for making your own. This Christmas Countdown uses magnets, and this is a great choice for those Peanuts fans (which I am!)
Along with the advent calendars/Christmas Countdown items, I wanted to share some fun gift sets. These make great gifts for those people you just don’t know what to get: co-workers, Secret Santa, babysitter, teacher, any friend that’s not your best friend, etc. Some ideas include the Philosophy Thank You set, Burt’s Bees kit, and one of my absolute favorites!

My other gift guide for you today is Fun & Quirky; a mix of items that I thought would make unique gifts. Candles, candy, purses, and more. Everything is a little different, and the price points vary, though I tried not to include anything too outrageously expensive!
I have a few items for people who love to host and plan parties: popcorn maker, hot dog roller, and even a mini waffle maker.
If you’re like me then you LOVE candles, especially this time of the year so I had to share some fun options: Yankee Candle Holiday Candle 2-Pack, Library Scented Tea Lights, some Literary Candles, and this fun Mistletoe Mint candle!

I LOVE advent calendars! My mom had a really cute one when we were growing up; you’d move a little mouse along the pockets of…. I believe it was a tree design. The one Alex and I have at our home is a bit lame, but it works for now 🙂 It’s giant snowman head and you turn the carrot nose to point to the different numbers.
I always loved advent calendars. We used to get the candy ones, but now my daughter loves cosmetics, and they have some neat options from Sephora.
Someone bought me a sock advent calendar last year and it was SO much fun to open and get a new pair of socks every day lol And they came in themes. mine was woodland animals but they had Harry Potter and comics characters etc…

Love advent calendars. People are so creative now and you can almost use anything! Thanks Lauren for the excellent ideas! ❤️❤️
I have a Cost Plus Advent calendar, and have loved it! The kids get such a kick out of it, and it is really pretty too!
Those advent calendars are all so cute. I actually need to get one too. When my son was into Legos, we always just used theirs so he could get a new Lego toy every day but now it would be nice to have a pretty one in the house.
I love all these advent calendars. I’m doing an Advent countdown this year with a fun little activity for every day, but I’m not yet sure what it will actually look like. This gives me some good ideas!
I thunk holiday calendars are adorable! But If I had to pick only ONE item on this list it would definitely be the Literary Candles! 🙂
