I’m excited to take part in the Great American Read blog tour, courtesy of The Children’s Book Review and Dover Books (sponsored post; all opinions are always my own). As an English major, I am a big fan of some of the classic books and so I think this giveaway will interest a lot of people. Whether you’ve read these books or not, you need them for your collection!

  1. Oh I love Little Women, that’s a great American novel for sure. I also love Pride & Prejudice and Great Expectations. Great books!

  2. Classics are great! I guess that’s why they call them classics! ha! Great giveaway – would love to have these in my book collection!

  3. Books have forever been an incredible part of my life! Every summer, my dad would take us to the library each week. I’d stock up on as many books as I was allowed to check out and read through every single one by the end of the week. (I really miss those days now that I struggle to finish even one book. Sigh.) This giveaway is awesome! Little Women is a favorite and also the Adventures of Don Quixote. It’s not easy getting my own children involved in reading (even though I read to them when little and have quite a few books in our family collection.) Perhaps these classics would entice them or at least listen to me read them out loud. Thanks for your posts. They remind me of how joyful it can be to read and share our impressions.
