I’ve been planning for this swap for awhile now, so I already have a good idea of what I want to include…depending, of course, if I still think whoever I’m matched with will enjoy it.
However, sign ups are still open until Monday, July 28 if you want to join the Local Flavor Swap at Chaotic Goddess Swaps. The basic idea of the swap is to send a “package that contains at least 5 items local to your region, that fit your partner’s tastes.”
I live in Kentucky, but it’s right next to Cincinnati, Ohio so I’m going to mix the two (Cincy, Ohio and Kentucky) as there are more items I could include that represent Cincy.
This sounds like an interesting swap! I am not sure what is local here that would really appeal to someone else's taste..umm, berries maybe? LOL! It would be fun to see what everyone sends each other.
Oh that sounds like fun! I would join in except I am not sure I can get anything sent out timely but next one? I am so in on. LOL Arizona has some cool items that are regional!
That's so cool. It must be nice living close-ish to other bloggers. Have fun!
Yay! So glad you're joining us for this one! I'm embarrassed to admit I had no idea Cincinnati was that close to the border with Kentucky.
What a great idea. Though I'm not sure I'll be able to participate this time I'm sitting here planning what I would put in my parcel. Please do keep us up to date on this one.
Oh! This sounds fun! I'm going to click over and sign up! Thanks for posting about it!
What a brilliant idea although living on a small island all I have is Jersey milk, potatoes and tomatoes and I can't see that working too well in the post ;-)I hope you get something good in return.
What a cool idea!
That's what our family does for Christmas instead of individual gifts. We just send a small package of local things to the whole family.

I am looking forward to reading all of these posts. What clever idea!
I signed up for this one too! I was very last minute though so I need to write up my post still.
