Currently: Loving, Purchasing, and More!

I’m linking up with Anne from In Residence today. I’m still on vacation, and of course, all these memes/link ups happen when I’m gone! I’ll get back to you ASAP though!

Currently: October 2019

Arranging: my suitcase for vacation. I’m going with my mom and we’re flying, so we have to share one big suitcase. I like to use the KonMari method of rolling your clothes – they really do make it easier to pack and you can fit a lot!

Loving: that it’s finally October. This is my favorite month, my favorite season is Fall, and my favorite holiday is Halloween, so yeah, I’m kind of in love with all things October. I have so many things written in my planner – both planned and just ideas – and I can’t wait to share what I end up doing at the end of the month.

Embracing: where I’m at in life. It’s a slow progress. Most days I’m okay with where I am but like the Motion City Soundtrack song, “the future freaks me out.” I’m trying to not let it (at least not so much).

Purchasing: not a whole lot right now but there are seriously so many books coming out this Fall that I really want to read. I even made a Top Ten Tuesday post about it.

Sharing: my Fall Bucket List for this year. I’m sure there is a lot more I could include, but let’s not get too crazy! What’s on your Fall bucket list?

Tell me: What are you currently up to?

  1. I’ve grown to love October quite a bit myself – partly because it’s my son’s birthday month, so we get to combine fall fun with birthday fun ๐Ÿ™‚ And I feel you on the books – so many tempting me to purchase lately!

  2. Rolling clothes for packing has been a game changer for me! You can fit so much more stuff! I love October too, this month leading up to the end of the year is my favorite stretch of the entire year. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I’m a big fan of Halloween too ๐Ÿ™‚ Looking forward to all the book purchases/TBRs, obvi! I’ve been rolling my clothes when packing way before Marie Kondo declared it a “thing!” Where ya headed? Hope you have a great trip!

  4. I hope you have a wonderful vacation Lauren! I love October too. I’m looking forward to the cooling down, the autumn leaves, all things pumpkin and cinnamon flavored, and Halloween :). I can’t wait to check out what books you’re most excited for this fall!

  5. I fall in love with autumn and October every year, it’s my favorite season. ๐Ÿ™‚ Love the Fall Bucket List, by the way! I’m a big fan of IT and have been meaning to see the remake, but after seeing a few screenshots, I chickened out. LOL!

  6. Enjoy your vacation AND your fall! It sounds like you have a few things planned which always makes for a fun season. (I roll my clothes, too!)

I agree, and have used her rolling tactic in my dresser drawers. Totally make a HUGE difference. Looking forward to hearing all about your vacation! Hugs, RO

  8. Currently trying to catch up with Bloglovin.

Currently loving the 80s love songs playlist on my Spotify.

    Currently reading Five Feet Apart.

Currently enjoying being at home on a Friday night.

    Have a great trip!

  9. I just finished Marie’s book, but have to inclination to roll my clothes at home or for travel. I usually pack things in plastic bags (like the drycleaner ones) to keep them from wrinkling. It works pretty well.

The number one reason I hate flying is because of all the stress of trying to pack the suitcase, the limiting of my liquids, and the obscene costs of checking a bag. Good luck with your packing, and I hope you have a wonderful trip!

  11. Rolling clothes is key when packing for a vacation (T-shirtโ€™s and pants especially!). I hope you had a nice time away with your mom though Iโ€™m sorry you were away from Luana during that time โค๏ธ Iโ€™m a sucker food this time of year too and am so excited about pumpkin, apple, and mums picking this weekend (not sure mums picking is a thing but I want some festive florals for our stoop!).
