Planner Hop: Thoughts, Reviews, and Giveaways!

Posted November 8, 2017 by shooting in Planning / 45 Comments

From December 1st to the 15th, Anna from Herding Cats and Burning Soup and I are hosting a Planning Blog Hop! We’ll have a linky on both of our blogs (it’s the same link-up so you only have to post once) that will be open from the 1-15 so you can link up any planning/planner related posts and giveaways. If you do a giveaway, it can end whenever you want (and the rest of the rules are completely up to you) but you must link it up with us before the 15th. As for the other posts, you can write new ones and link those, or take older posts you’ve already done and share them instead (or do a mix of both!) It’s not a very strict blog hop.

All Things Planner! Link up your reviews, thoughts, and giveaways December 1-15 #planning Click To Tweet

Both Anna and I love all things planner, so we thought it would be a fun idea to share in the love with other bloggers. We’re closing the link up on the 15th so that people have time before January 1st to grab a planner and get started! Whether you do your own post or not, we’d love to hear your thoughts about planners in the comments. Do you plan? What do you use (a regular planner, bullet journal, etc.)? How do you feel about all the extras (stickers, washi tape, etc.)? You can answer these questions in your own blog post too – anything planner related goes!

Please spread the word – we’d love to have as many bloggers taking part as possible to get a wide range of ideas and thoughts! Feel free to use the above image and link back to either of our blogs!
Also – would you want one big linky, or do you want one for posts and one for giveaways?

  1. I love planners! I’m currently using a Recollections planner from Michaels and I love it. I plan on buying my 2018 planner in the next few weeks. I have heard such great things about the bullet journal. Sometimes I use stickers and washi tape to decorate my pages.

  2. THis is such a fun giveaway and hop! My planner has sure taken a real beating the last few months with everyone getting sick in our house and hockey starting! OH MY. Can’t wait for the January one to start so that way I can have a fresh new one!

  3. I love planners…I enjoy looking through them and fantasizing about how organized my life will be once I begin using it. Sigh. My latest attempt was the “SELF” journal. I really liked that one and hope to try again…soon…after Thanksgiving. 😉

  4. Oh I love this! I am also planner obsessed and have already began thinking about what I want to do for 2018. This year I did a bullet journal (I can link up my post on that for sure!) but I’m thinking about doing a more traditional planner for everyday planning and making a bullet journal that’s just book-related… If I figure it out I’ll have to do a post on that and link that one up too. This sounds fun!

  5. love planners, definitely watching out for this later! I usually just go with a cute one from target, but I’ve been wondering lately if one like maybe an erin condren one is worth the money.

  6. I just ordered my third Erin Condren planner for next year. I am curious to hear about how others use theirs, I am always looking for tips. I always get busy and then just use the calendar part and not the other parts in it!

  7. This is such a fun idea. I haven’t really been using my planner much this year, but I love seeing how other people use their planners.

  8. Yikes!! I don’t plan. Or at least not well when it comes to blogging! Plan every other detail in my life but blogging is where I seem to be a bit flower child. Going to put this on the agenda. Now to remember to open my agenda. Thanks, love.

  9. Aww, this sounds like a lot of fun! I’m gonna try to see if I can make it for that Dec(?) 15 deadline!! I used to use planners pretty religious throughout high school and college, and kinda dropped off the face of the planet on those during grad school and med school, but I started bullet journaling earlier this year and I really like it! :]!

We’d love to have you Farrah! And I edited this post to add a linky if you want to add your blog just to show you’re interested!

  10. This sounds like a great idea and so much fun! I love planning, but admit that some months I’m on my game, others not so much. But I do love getting inspiration & ideas from other planners. Can’t wait to get started!

Awesome! I just edited the post with a linky to sign up if you want to go ahead and do that! Can’t wait to have you!

  11. I love planners and I also love pens! My husband always used to know to look for me in the office supplies if he couldn’t find me in a store! Even though I love planners I have never been able to find one that is just perfect for me, so I’ve thought of designing my own, but don’t know where to start! Thank you for linking up to Party in Your PJ’s.

  12. That’s cool that you put this link up together for reviews. I think it’s clever because all of us bloggers are into planners and we’re all in search of the perfect one before 2018 hits.
Thanks hun, gonna click over to the links now. 🙂

  13. RO

I would never have even known about planners until Anna showed me hers on Thanksgiving. I’ve been hooked AND a heck of a lot more organized ever since! Great idea! Hugs…RO

  14. I joined! Love blog giveaway hops, and planners are such a fun theme. Looking forward to this!
(PS – I’m hosting a giveaway hop that starts Dec. 2–would love for you to join us!)
