Sunday Post (7): It Doesn’t Feel Quite Like Christmas

I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas already! I have pretty much all my gifts; I just need to get wrapping so it’s not all last minute. I’ve been enjoying the month of December thus far though. I’ve had pretty nice weather and I only have one more test to take before I’m finished with graduate school. I actually graduate this coming Friday (the 18th) which feels a bit surreal, I have to admit. I’ve been working at an academic library in a graduate assistant position, so my last day for that was this past Friday which was sad. I really enjoyed it and now I just have my public library job – so I’m on the look out for something else!

Besides that, there hasn’t been much new. The cookie exchange party last Sunday went well and I got to eat lots of yummy treats. Mmm-mmm! I do recommend this for a holiday party idea. You get lots of cookies without having to make them all, so what could be better, right?

Does anyone else host or attend any holiday parties this time of the year? Feel free to share!

  1. I can't wait until it's my time to graduate, Lauren! Congrats on arriving to the end of your academic path.

I don't really feel like Christmas, either… We have decorated the house, but I haven't bought any presents at all. It's too warm out, so not like December at all.

Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
