I am absolutely thrilled to be part of the chapter reveal blog tour for TAKEN by Erin Bowman that HarperTeen has put together.
Taken by Erin Bowman
Publisher: HarperTeen
Release Date: April 16, 2013
There are no men in Claysoot. There are boys—but every one of them vanishes at midnight on his eighteenth birthday. The ground shakes, the wind howls, a blinding light descends…and he’s gone.
They call it the Heist.
Gray Weathersby’s eighteenth birthday is mere months away, and he’s prepared to meet his fate–until he finds a strange note from his mother and starts to question everything he’s been raised to accept: the Council leaders and their obvious secrets. The Heist itself. And what lies beyond the Wall that surrounds Claysoot–a structure that no one can cross and survive.
Climbing the Wall is suicide, but what comes after the Heist could be worse. Should he sit back and wait to be taken–or risk everything on the hope of the other side?

Sounds amazing, right? I’m currently more than halfway through it right now, and I’m totally in love with it. I definitely recommend you buy it when it comes out.

What did you think of chapter 7 and of Taken so far?

You've made me curious about this book. I'll definitely look into reading this.
I finished Taken just recently and ended up really liking it, despite a few issues I had mainly with the worldbuilding. It's a pretty decent book. I'll probably read the sequel. 🙂
What an interesting idea.
I can't read this yet because Chapter 6 was never posted yesterday 🙁

Ooh, it's great that the pub is releasing so many chapters, I'm going to start at the beginning and catch up!
I just finished this book and enjoyed it – but I can't believe I thought it was a standalone.
I have this coming up next week I believe. Happy to hear it is panning out for you! It sounds awesome! Love the cover as well.
This one is going to be my next read and I'm very excited for it! This is a really neat idea for a promo post.
