Theming Thursday: Camping Party

We are nearing the summer – or at least summer break- so I thought it would be fun to share some ideas for a Camping Party! Some are kid friendly, but others are perfect for children and adults!

The website AdventureIdeaz shares a free, printable Outdoor Scavenger Hunt.

How to Nest for Less offers some free printables for a Nature Scavenger Hunt. There is the page of items to find and little tags that you can add to brown paper bags where the child’s name will go. You can see both items in the picture above!

Catch My Party shares a ton of free printables for a fun camping party. I really like the signs and ingredient tags for Make Your Own Trail Mix and Make Your Own S’mores. These are things you could even use inside for a fun “camping day” with the kids.

Maybe you want a S’mores night or to theme your camp around S’mores…well, Life is a Party has you covered. She offers free food labels, an invitation you can edit with your details, and even the camp name tag you see above!

Camping and Kids shares a fun Worm and Dirt Pie recipe. I’ve seen it made pretty easily with chocolate pudding, oreo’s and gummy worms. Or you can skip the pudding!

The Moody Fashionista shares how to make an easy Glow Stick Lantern. I think these would make great camping decorations or even a quick activity and favor for older kids.

Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons shares how to make these adorable acorn treats. While acorns scream Fall to me, they are also perfect for an outdoor/camping party. The blog’s page also includes links to a lot of other camping food ideas

And that’s it for some fun camping party ideas! If you have any topic you’d like to see me tackle for Theming Thursday, leave a comment below!

  1. DUDE my daughter would be all over this! My kids are actually getting old enough that I could probably take them camping. I just prefer doing so with a camper. I hate sleeping outside or in a tent. 🙁 Especially around here where there are actually bears and cougars.
