Top Ten Tuesday is from The Broke and the Bookish and this week’s topic is—

Top Ten Things On My Bookish Bucket List
(in no particular order)

1. Listen to an audiobook – this should be obvious from my previous post, but I have yet to listen to one and I hope to do so soon!

2. Publish my own book – this is definitely a big one! I’d love to call myself a published author someday.

3. Celebrate 10 years blogging – I have been blogging on this site for almost seven years, so I would love to make it to 10!

4. Have a book club reunion–  I used to be in an online book club and a bunch of us have met a couple of times. This was years ago now, though, so I’d love to have a vacation/reunion with some of the members in the near future.

5. Visit BEA again -I have been to Book Expo America once, but it was only for one day and not even the entire day…I’d really like to go back and truly experience the convention.

6. Read the entire works of Oscar Wilde – I love Wilde, from his works to his biography, but I would love to say I have read his collected bibliography.

7. Plan more book-themed parties – I love party planning and I have planned/hosted a couple Harry Potter parties, a Hunger Games party, and one literary-themed party. I’d really like to have more parties based around a book or series in the future!

And that’s all I can currently think of! What is on your bookish bucket list??

  1. I haven't been to BEA before, but it sounds like it's so much fun! I definitely want to go eventually. Also, that is amazing that you've been blogging for 7 years. I hope to reach that point in blogging eventually. A book club reunion is such a cool idea, too! I used to be part of a book club a few years ago. Great list 🙂

  2. I still need to make BEA, maybe when it comes to Chicago 🙂 Ooo and seven years! You go Lauren! I hope you write your book and yes you need to try an audio..i was convinced it wasn't for me and now I love them!

  3. This is such a cool list, Lauren! I'd love to go to BEA haha. Maybe someday. *fingers crossed* Whoa, 10 years blogging? That's just beyond awesome. I'd love to read your book someday! Ooh, book-themed parties! Just imagining meeting fellow fangirls and fanboys get me all giddy haha. x)

May all your bookish bucket list comes true, Lauren! 🙂

  4. Wow, seven years is a LONG time! That's great 🙂 I really hope you'll get to celebrate your tenth blogging year 😀

And I think probably half of us have "get published" on our bucket lists, haha. I most certainly do! So I completely agree with you on that one 🙂

    Awesome list <33

  5. Awesome list. I've only listened to one audio book, Clockwork Prince, and that wa because Ed Westwick was narrating.

And I wish you all the luck when you start writing your novel(s). Don't forget to give us a few teasers =)

  7. That is a great bucket list! I have just started listening to audio books and I'm just starting to get the hang of listening and not thinking about other things and zoning out! It is quite a different experience and I'll continue practising 😉

  8. I haven't been to the BEA (yet!), but that's so cool that you had the opportunity to go! And wow…10 years?! That's pretty impressive! 😀

I agree with everything else on your list as well!

Thanks so much for sharing Lauren, and, as always, brilliant choices! 😀

  9. 1. I agree I really wanna try an audiobook! I feel like I'd run out of patience because it'd be so slow in terms of reading but since I rarely read anymore I'd probably be okay.

    3. omg 7 years is so fantastic!! I barely made it to three years, so go you for making it so far!

    5. BEA in its entirety is totally cool, I really hope you can make it there again!

    Fantastic list! <33

  10. This is a great bucket list! I still need to pick up an audiobook too! I wish that we had a book club near where I lived, I'd love to read something together as a group and then discuss is afterwards! Also you've been blogging for 7 years? That's an amazing achievement!

  11. WOAH. 7 YEARS? Go you, Lauren! That is seriously awesome and I am in absolute awe of you. I really want to go to the BEA as well, it would be so fun

  12. Seven years is awesome. I'm hoping to make it to ten too!

And I've just recently started listening to audiobooks. They vary widely for me, but I kinda like 'em.

  13. I would love to make it to 5 years of blogging, but I don't know how long I'll last thanks to my mom (she wants me to quit reading and find a job in which no one would actually hire me… so I can't control that haha – WELL THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE. NUTRITION LABELS COUNT TOO). Though I might have to ask for a coblogger sometime in the future. o_o

  14. Wow WOW great list, I hope you get to accomplish all of these in your life! I would also love to say I have done most of them as well: namely, attend BEA and celebrate 10 years of blogging! Publishing a book isn't a personal goal of mine, but I think it is so great that it is one of yours!!

  15. What a great list! You're not the only one who has yet to listen to an audio book! I've had friends give some to me to try, but I never seem to get around to it. Some day!

Congrats on having 7 years under your belt! Bet you'll make it to 10 years with no problem!

Hope you're able to make it back to BEA! That was the best bookish time I've ever had and I'd love to go back!

  16. Pretty sure I would punch whoever did the caramel apples one to me in the face, haha. I bite right into those. Now I'll always be doubting them xD Love the brown E's one because I give people baked stuff all the time-they would never expect it!
