An Easter Surprise – personalized book from Put Me in the Story
Review by Lauren
I was given the opportunity to personalize and review one of the Easter books from Put Me in the Story. Despite this, all opinions are still my own. I actually decided to let a friend of mine from work choose the book she wanted and since she has two young boys, we finally figured that we’d put “Andrew ‘n Adam” as the name. I’ve done this in the past with my two nieces, but with this new book, we needed one more character to be able to put “and” in the middle and obviously we didn’t have that. Hence, the “n” in the middle instead of an “and.” Regardless, I think it works okay and it’s kind of a cute way to put the two boy’s names together!
Now, part of this is my fault because they allow you to read some of the story before you order, but I didn’t realize that the name was going to be associated with the Easter Bunny. Basically, whatever name you choose to have this book personalized with- that’s the Easter Bunny’s name. So basically, I’ve given him the name Andrew ‘n Adam. I think it’s still kind of cute, and a bit unique. Plus, with the ‘n instead of the and, the names run a bit smoother when reading aloud so it almost seems like one full name.
The actual story is really cute though. It’s all about this little bunny who is actually the Easter Bunny and it takes you on his journey as he delivers all the eggs on Easter-eve. The illustrations are bright and fun! You even get to pick the city, so that’s shown a couple time in the book too, which is fun, especially if your child is old enough to know what city they live in. There are a variety of numbered eggs throughout the book that your child can find, which is a really fun activity! Don’t worry if they can’t find them all…the answers (with photos) are in the back!
As with all Put Me in the Story books, you get to choose a photo for the inside of the book and you can even have a little message. As you can see from the front, the name’s of the kid(s) is on the front, as well as whoever the book is from. I don’t have a picture – but the kid’s photos as well as their mom and dad’s personal message is at the beginning of the book. I ordered the hardback, but there are paperbacks available too!
Put Me in the Story also has other Easter books, plus animals that got with the books (you can get this book with the bunny plush if you want!), and even some fun Easter baskets. Don’t delay though – shipping for Easter ends Friday, March 31st! Want to know something even BETTER? You can get $10 off all hardcover Easter books by using the code SUNNY

How cute! This would be fun for little ones and a great gift for them.
I still like the name of the story – though I'm surprised that the name you give is the name of the Easter Bunny; for some reason I thought the names provided would be the names of the other characters, or something. Still super cute!
xx
This is so, so cute! A personalized book is so thoughtful. I love anything personalized as a gift!

How cute is this! My little boy would love something like this, he loves his story time and gets excited to pick which book we're reading each night. If it had his name in we would be reading it every night lol
