I have decided to take part in ARC August for the first time. This event is hosted by Read.Sleep.Repeathttp://www.readsleeprepeat.org/2016-arc-august/ and the idea is to read as many ARCs as you can during the month of August. I’m already reading August ARCs that I have from BEA and Netgalley, but I have a few more, plus a TON of books to read/review for September, so I’d like to get through as many of these books as I can.
September Netgalley Reads:
Connection Error by Annabeth Albert
Leave Me by Gayle Forman
Say It Right by A.M. Arthur
The Talented Mr. Rivers by HelenKay Dimon
The Illustrated Book of Sayings by Ella Frances Sanders
September BEA Reads:
I shared a picture of my September BEA picks on Instagram after coming home from Chicago, so I’ll just share a link here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BFj2xb4Bi5V/?taken-by=laurenashleybecker
What are you hoping to get read next month? Will you take part in ARC August?
-Lauren
August might be my only chance to really read for a long time, since I'll be be between manuscripts! I'm hoping to finish off my BEA May pile and read a few friends' books that I've had on my list for ages!
I am at a new place in my blogging history… I actually don't have any ARCs to read. I don't know if I have become much more selective, or if I am getting burned out on YA, but haven't requested in a while
Good luck though!
Good luck with all the ARCs you have to read and the challenge!
Good luck with your challenge, I'm really interested in Hannah West's book as well as Phantom Limbs, Stalking Jack the Ripper, and Chemical Hearts.

Sounds like a handy challenge as it seems we bookbloggers always have a bunch of unread arc's. Good luck with the challenge! I already am participating in a reading challenge for the month of august and hope to read some arcs for that.
Yay for ARC August!! I'm going to try to read Kingdom of Ash and Briars if I have time also. Stalking Jack the Ripper was pretty good. I just finished it like a week ago. I liked the time period and the mystery (although I knew who the killer was WAY early). Hope you get a lot read next month!!
The Illustrated Book of Sayings sounds interesting!
Concentrating on the challenges I have already committed myself to I won't be joining you this time.
Good look with your challenge. I look forward to reading of your progress.
This is such a great idea–I know I've got a ton of ARCs I haven't read yet. Even older ones, tbh, that have been released but haven't made it to the top of my list yet. Anyway, good luck with this–maybe I'll finally get cracking down on my ARCs too!!
Good luck…I may join as well!
Great idea! I hope you'll enjoy all those ARCs 🙂 I loved Leave Me, and I am anxiously waiting for my bookish friends to read it so I can see what they think of it as well.
Have a wonderful weekend and happy reading.

I have a confession to make… I haven't read a single BEA book yet. Oh my gosh, I'm such a failure. I am unofficially participating in ARC August… If I officially participate I won't do it because pressure!! But I really think I'm going to dedicate August to getting through some ARCs. I am so behind. This summer has been crazy busy! Good luck getting through your stack!
