I hope your March is off to a good start. It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so I’m linking up with Anne at In Residence.

Currently: March 2019

Scheming: Hmm…I don’t know if the word scheming quite fits, but I am starting to plan a party for my birthday this summer. I’m turning 29 so I HAVE to have a (2) 9 3/4 party – aka Harry Potter themed party. I think it will be a fun way to see a lot of my friends, and I love planning themed/nerdy parties.

Reading: I avoided writing/blogging most of the weekend because I was obsessed with the book Bad Judgement by Sidney Bell. Five stars- so so good!

Buying: I need to submit my last payment for my recital bundle (recital is in May). I’m going to be doing two dances with my tap class, and I’m so curious to see our costume in person.

Making: My mom and I attended another library event this past Saturday and we made these really cute wooden bunnies!

Accomplishing: I’m not really sure what to put for this one. I’ve been doing tap and cardio hip hop and I’d say that’s an ongoing accomplishment. It’s fun and makes me feel good. I WISH I could say I’ve been doing better with my personal writing (aka my work in progress/book) but alas, I have not. However, I am aiming for anywhere between 5k-10k words this month so we’ll see how it goes! Just getting into the groove again will be nice.

  1. What a fun birthday party idea!
Your Mom and you always make such great crafts at your library. Can you believe Easter is next month?
I’m the same with my personal writing – I need to do more of it. As you say getting into the groove is great – I just need to motivate myself to do more each week.

  2. I love that you and your mom do that! Go easy on yourself about the writing. I love that you have the intention in place. And you know when you get your fingers going, it’s going to just flow. Don’t we love that about writing?

  3. That sounds like such a cool birthday party idea! I can’t wait to see it! I don’t even remember the last time I had a birthday party, nowadays we cap it at dinner because we’re old lol. I’ve been terrible at just getting blog posts up, so I can’t even imagine actually personal writing, but wishing you lots of luck hitting your goal and finding your groove again!

  4. Ahhh these bunnies are adorable! <3
I hope you'll be able to get back into writing this month – it's so hard to get back to it after a break, but once you manage to establish a small routine, even just a few words here and there, it will feel nice already 🙂
    Best of luck!! 🙂

  5. Ahhh, that’s the best scheming idea I’ve read yet today! How fun. And you’re doing tap classes?! The gym we used to go to offered them and I LOVED doing it, but I haven’t been able to find any other adult classes where I live now. Would be so fun to get back into. And now I’m off to check out the book you mentioned – any 5-star rating definitely peaks my interest…

  6. Your bunnies are so cute! I love that you are planning a Harry Potter birthday party, that is perfect for you! I bet it will be a lot of fun!

  7. Those bunnies are so cute!

I love it when a story is so good it sucks me in to the point of tuning everything else out. I’ll have to check the book out.

Glad to hear you loved Spider-Man into the Spider Verse, too! Just read you comment on my blog. I don’t get notification when you leave a comment so I’m sorry for the late comment back, Lauren.

  8. I’ve been TERRIBLE with writing my book too. I wanted to work on my weekly writing dates again but those fell to wayside. Hoping I can bring it back in the coming months again.

I absolutely love the theme of your 29th party, and my Harry Potter fans agree!! I have a recipe for butter beer on my site. That stuff is seriously soooooo good!

Oh my gosh those bunnies are super duper cute! Our library has crafts but only for little ones, I wish they had classes for adults. I’d definitely attend one. 🙂
