I hope your March is off to a good start. It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so I’m linking up with Anne at In Residence.
Currently: March 2019
Scheming: Hmm…I don’t know if the word scheming quite fits, but I am starting to plan a party for my birthday this summer. I’m turning 29 so I HAVE to have a (2) 9 3/4 party – aka Harry Potter themed party. I think it will be a fun way to see a lot of my friends, and I love planning themed/nerdy parties.
Reading: I avoided writing/blogging most of the weekend because I was obsessed with the book Bad Judgement by Sidney Bell. Five stars- so so good!
Buying: I need to submit my last payment for my recital bundle (recital is in May). I’m going to be doing two dances with my tap class, and I’m so curious to see our costume in person.
Making: My mom and I attended another library event this past Saturday and we made these really cute wooden bunnies!
Accomplishing: I’m not really sure what to put for this one. I’ve been doing tap and cardio hip hop and I’d say that’s an ongoing accomplishment. It’s fun and makes me feel good. I WISH I could say I’ve been doing better with my personal writing (aka my work in progress/book) but alas, I have not. However, I am aiming for anywhere between 5k-10k words this month so we’ll see how it goes! Just getting into the groove again will be nice.

What a fun birthday party idea!
Your Mom and you always make such great crafts at your library. Can you believe Easter is next month?
I’m the same with my personal writing – I need to do more of it. As you say getting into the groove is great – I just need to motivate myself to do more each week.
You are so young! What a fun party idea. I was reading all day Sunday too!
Those bunny signs are adorable! And I love the birthday party idea.
I love that you and your mom do that! Go easy on yourself about the writing. I love that you have the intention in place. And you know when you get your fingers going, it’s going to just flow. Don’t we love that about writing?
I love when books are so good they distract you from doing other things! I’ve been having that with a lot of books this year so far.
oh my gosh the bunnies are so adorable 😀 what a fun week!
That sounds like such a cool birthday party idea! I can’t wait to see it! I don’t even remember the last time I had a birthday party, nowadays we cap it at dinner because we’re old lol. I’ve been terrible at just getting blog posts up, so I can’t even imagine actually personal writing, but wishing you lots of luck hitting your goal and finding your groove again!
Ahhh these bunnies are adorable! <3
I hope you'll be able to get back into writing this month – it's so hard to get back to it after a break, but once you manage to establish a small routine, even just a few words here and there, it will feel nice already 🙂
Best of luck!! 🙂
Ahhh, that’s the best scheming idea I’ve read yet today! How fun. And you’re doing tap classes?! The gym we used to go to offered them and I LOVED doing it, but I haven’t been able to find any other adult classes where I live now. Would be so fun to get back into. And now I’m off to check out the book you mentioned – any 5-star rating definitely peaks my interest…
Your bunnies are so cute! I love that you are planning a Harry Potter birthday party, that is perfect for you! I bet it will be a lot of fun!
I love that craft event. Yay for your upcoming birthday!!!
There are certainly a lot of great decorating and costume ideas with that theme! Post pictures for sure.
Those bunnies are so cute! What a fun craft 🙂
I love/hate when a book makes me forget to do anything else! Haha
Awwe those bunnies are adorable ^_^’. Sooo cute! That book must be good if you avoided blogging x)
Those bunnies are so cute!
I love it when a story is so good it sucks me in to the point of tuning everything else out. I’ll have to check the book out.
Glad to hear you loved Spider-Man into the Spider Verse, too! Just read you comment on my blog. I don’t get notification when you leave a comment so I’m sorry for the late comment back, Lauren.
I’ve been TERRIBLE with writing my book too. I wanted to work on my weekly writing dates again but those fell to wayside. Hoping I can bring it back in the coming months again.
Oh my goodness! A HP themed birthday! I love it!
Sounds like you’ve been doing lots of fun things lately! Good luck with your recital!
Those bunnies are adorable. I love tole painting. I am loving your birthday ideas. It sounds like it will be a fun party.
The bunnies are so cute! It’s so great that you’re taking tap and hip hop classes. I’m actually taking my very first yoga class tonight.
I love those bunnies!! Too cute!
Those little bunnies are too cute!! I love it when a book is so good you want to avoid everything else and just read.
A themed party sounds like so much fun! I would so be there, I adore H.P.!
Okay, I love the theme idea for your birthday party! Can’t wait to hear all your plans and see what you decide to do.
Just love your library events you do!! I have weekends like those, where I just binge read a book, because I love it that much!!! How exciting to take a dance class!

I absolutely love the theme of your 29th party, and my Harry Potter fans agree!! I have a recipe for butter beer on my site. That stuff is seriously soooooo good!
I turn 28 this year, so I can’t quite get away with a 9 3/4 theme…I’m sure there is some connection I can make to Harry Potter though!
I didn’t know you tapped? I love watching tap. I am flying to Chicago in May to see my daughter perform with a local dance company, and she got selected for a tap number. Yeah for tap!
Those wooden bunnies are truly the cutest things ever!!
xx
Love the idea of a Harry Potter themed birthday party and those wooden bunnies are adorable!
Those bunnies are super adorable! I hope that your party planning is fun and that you enjoy the celebration just as much. 🙂
I’ve actually never been to a themed party before, but it sounds like fun. Good luck organizing it! Look forward to seeing pics. 🙂
I love the wooden bunnies. It must have been fun making them!
Oh I cannot wait to see pics of your party! What a wonderful idea it is! And cute bunnies are CUTE!
A HP birthday party? Get outta here! Awesome!
Can’t go wrong with a Harry Potter theme! Plus, the planning will be almost as much fun as the actual party with that one!
Oh my gosh those bunnies are super duper cute! Our library has crafts but only for little ones, I wish they had classes for adults. I’d definitely attend one. 🙂
Those bunnies are absolutely adorable.
A (2) 9 3/4 party might be the bestthing I’ve ever heard of! ❤
Those bunnies are super cute!
