A bit confused as to why Emma Watson (Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films) is posing next to a lifesize version of Despereaux from the animated film due out this month? Well, it’s because she’s actually IN the film…or her voice is at least. She “speaks” the role of Princess Pea, or simply the young lady in the trailer that exclaims, “Are you a rat?”
There you have it! The first edition of “Did you know…?” So, did you?
Emma Watson is absolutely adorable and a good actress. I am excited to see Despereaux. It looks so cute!
I cannot wait to see Despereaux! It looks so sweet!
I saw commercials of Despereaux while watching The Incredibles a little while ago, and Emma Watson was there, advertising. 🙂
I recently blogged about a live-action version of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, which also cast Watson. At the moment, there’s no word on whether or not the movie’s actually going to be released, but the fan-made trailer looks promising (though the CGI parts are way too cartoonish for me).
To append, I wanted to note that the role Watson took for Evangelion is a pretty good one though in the trailer, she looks a bit too soft for it (if she were cast in the role of Asuka Langley, that is). All the same, I hope the film gets released. I’m a huge Evangelion fan. 😀
Shalonda: I know, I love her as well and I can’t wait for the film.
Kalea: Definitely!!
Hayden: Oh, that’s cool! It tooke me a little while to find out it was her…my sister actually told me. 🙂
I didn’t know that. She sure is pretty.
Oh, really? That’s cool. I’ll watch the movie once it comes on pay-per-view. Hermione grew prettier over the years. Sadly for the males in Harry Potter it is the opposite.
Dar: She really is!
Diana: She definitely grew up a lot! I think most of the guys are still good looking, but I know what you mean in some ways…the boys were just too adorable when they were younger!
