Gifts for Your Boss/Co-Worker/Other Acquaintance

When I had asked about themes for gift guides on Twitter, someone mentioned Bosses and Co-Workers so I thought I’d share some ideas that might be good things to get for these people – or other acquaintances in your life like hairdressers, babysitters, and more! Again, Amazon Associates links allow me a percentage of all sales which helps me and the blog!

All That Food

Who doesn’t love a nice treat? These would be great for your boss or if you get something like a candy basket, you can set it out in your work common area for everyone to share! It’s easier than individual gifts for every co-worker.

Ferrero Rocher Hazelnut Chocolates, 48 count – Buy here for $12.89

Not too expensive for a nice boss gift, or lay them out and let your co-workers grab a couple to take!

Dove Promises Holiday Milk Chocolate Gift 12-ounce box – Buy here for $11.49

I love Dove chocolate, and I could see a boss really loving this! I’d lean more toward a female boss for Dove though – it just kind of seems girlier, but hey, do what you like!

Holiday Sweets and Treats in Keepsake Photo Frame Box – Buy here for $21.51

How cute is this? I love that you can use the box as a picture frame after you’ve eaten all of the goodies! Two gifts in one for under $25!

Stash Tea Original Honey Sticks – 20 Sticks – buy here for $4.99

These would be nice to gift with some tea!

If You’re Very Close to Your Boss
Some people buy their boss a holiday gift as a gesture of niceness, but sometimes you really are close to your boss. Maybe you’re even friends who talk outside work. I don’t know! I thought I’d share some more “funny” gifts that you could give these bosses that would appreciate it!

  1. Food! That's the perfect idea for coworkers. That's honestly the only thing I would do if I had some. I mean family comes first. You can make some cake for your coworkers for a party or something. I guess if you have the money you can do more.

  2. I saw a mug last week that read "I just left another meeting that could have been an email"….totally should have grabbed for every one in my office. haha This did remind me I have a pop up post it apple I snagged on sale earlier this fall from Office Max and I so need to grab it for a teacher gift!

  3. Some wonderful ideas. I don't know about his boss/co-workers, if Mr T was to bring home the Post-it Cat Figure Pop-up Note Dispenser I think he'd be looking for anther present for them as I'd so want to keep this.

  4. I've been wanting one of those coffee mug warmers, I am going to put it on my wish list. I love Dove chocolates and their little sayings on the inside of their wrappers!

  5. Those Ferrero chocolates are super cheap over there, a box of those here are $30.00 for that size. I'm not sure anyone likes their coworkers that much 😀 love the mouse pad desk jotter though, I need one of those to get my shit together. Great gift idea for a blogger too.

  6. Oh man, you have a lot of great ideas! We just need to get something for the kids' teachers now… and I usually go with a special canned fruit thing that is sold in beautiful glass boxes. But the small store I used to get those from has closed, so thank you for the tips!!
    I hope you're having a great weekend, Lauren 🙂

  7. These are great gift ideas! Buying gifts for coworkers can be tough. I especially like the cup warmer and the chocolate! (I often sip tea during the day, and it often goes cold on me!)
