Having seen this week’s premiere of In Plain Sight, I can say that you don’t want to miss this one. I love the USA network but honestly I never really sat down and watched this show before but I definitely want to now. I’d love to win this prize pack myself to have the previous seasons. Overall, the show is interesting, fun, and downright funny sometimes.

As for this particular episode, it’s a nice start to a new season with guest star Donnie Wahlberg as a former criminal that will do anything to keep his son (and future loved ones) safe. He has an intense role and most parents would probably understand his feelings near the end. You’ll just have to see the episode to know what I mean…

The character of Mary is a sarcastic, yet lovable, woman who must keep secrets to do the job she loves. I found her to be entirely engrossing and hopefully others will too. So watch the show, whether you have before or not, as it seems fairly easy to get into the swing of it and it might just cure those summertime yearnings for the moment.

One of my fave quotes is when Mary Shannon said "Okay, look. Here's the thing: Men lie, they cheat, they start wars. They're slobs unless they're gay, and there's precious few of them walking the planet worth putting on lipstick for, let alone throwing your life away, which is what you'll be doing if you shoot your festering, crap-egg of a husband." Sorta long but it was a great episode.

  3. I love shows on DVD! You don't have to deal with annoying commercials and can watch the episodes straight through with no interruptions. Thank you so much for the chance to win this! GREAT prizes.

I haven't seen this show, but from the IMDB blurb, it sounds really exciting. I've always been interested in the witness protection program…what would it be like to have to leave everything and start your life completely over with a new home, new friends, new job?

I would also love to watch this show because it sounds like Mary is a strong character, and I'm drawn to shows with strong women as the main characters: Alias, Fringe, Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Legend of the Seeker to give a few examples.

  5. here are some of my fav quotes

" You should be thinking about this come trial time when this case brings me ball-punching distance to you. "

" Oh I get it – like when you call me Snuggles or when Stan refers to you as his Butterscotch Stallion"

" I yearn for blind devotion – unthinking, unwavering – a cause, a thing, a principle worthy of absolute loyalty. A truth self-medicating, a love unabating, something – anything – to which I relinquish all personal responsibility. Semper Fi, 'Til Death Do Us Part', In Nomine Patris, Let's Go Mets. To the true believers, the lucky few, of thee I sing"

  6. We canceled our DirecTV service so I haven't seen any good shows lately. I remember seeing previews for this show, though, and I'd love to win! It looks hilarious!

    I'm a follower of course!

  7. One of the most difficult moments in anyone's life is when the fog of childhood lifts and we see for the first time our parents as people.

  8. I've seen a couple episodes of IN PLAIN SIGHT, but I'd love to see more! The couple that I saw were hilarious… I'm a big fan of Marshall! I love that there is a blend of action and humor – I don't like when it's ALL seriousness!

  9. I haven't seen this show yet. I was going to add it to my dvr line-up, but it was full for that time slot. I would love to be able to start the series on dvd without any commercials, though.

  10. My favorite quote is….
Mary: Marshall. Marshall! Can you hear me?
Marshall: I must have bumped my head.
Mary: Yeah, that's what happened. Then you fell on a bullet.
    Marshall: Huh?
Mary: You doofus, you got shot.
    Marshall: Oh, crap.

  11. I actually really enjoy this show but I don't know any specific lines though. I really like the banter between Mary and her partner, it is usually pretty funny.

  12. I've seen most of the episodes but I don't know any specific quotes although I love that Marshall is a Marshal. And I do like the opening: "Every one of those individuals shares a unique attribute, distinguishing them from the rest of the general population. And that is, somebody wants them dead."

  16. I LOVE this show, but ya know until now I didn't realize I don't really have a favorite quote. Really any part where Marshall and Mary are together are my favorite. Those two are the perfect non-couple, lol

  17. As much as I love the show, I had to look up quotes, because I couldn't think of any off the top of my head! 🙂 I think my favorite is:

    Mary: Another day, another dollar.
    Marshall: You gotta raise?
