Scarlet Grey is a power pop/rock infused band from Los Angeles, California that are quickly gaining popularity in the Southern California music scene. Frontman Ben Grey was kind enough to answer a few questions about future tours and music.
Q: Are there any plans in the works to do a US tour soon or are you going to stick to California for a bit?
A: We are always on tour darling!!!!
We’re doing a show in the bay on the 20th and and then a Halloween show here in L.A. and then we’re planning a tour for the winter. How far, I’m not sure yet but a definite chilly winter tour.
Q: If you were to tour across the country, who would you love to take with you as a supporting band(s)?
A: Silent Envy, NOGH or This Love Machine. Our BFF bands!!!
Q: Scarlet Grey has some of the most dedicated fans, known as the Grey Family, and one look at your Myspace shows that you respond almost to every comment/message. Is it difficult to keep track?
A: It is actually!! You see how long it took me to do this interview hahah!!We average between 800 to 1000 messages a day actually. and we tryyyyyyy to get to them all but it gets crazy sometimes. So i’m sorry if you have your messages aren’t responded to!!! But it does mean so much to us that so many people want to talk to us. Best fans ever.
Q: Right now, what’s playing in your iPod/Cd player/cassette player/record-player/etc?Any random guilty pleasure music?
A: Right now?? I’m listening to the new Nightmare of You EP. Ummm.. Blaqk Audio : Cex Cells, I have Revolver from The Beatles and I have some Elvis Costello in there. As far as a guilty pleasure… your friend Ben has The Natasha Bedingfield remix of “These Words.” It’s soooooo good haha
Q: Lastly, is there anything else you would like to add?
A: Once. Grey. Always. Grey.
