Keep It Together: A Look At My Projects

Memory Keeping

Welcome to the March edition of Keep It Together, a monthly planner/scrapbook/memory keeping blog hop. We’d love for you to join us sometime. Don’t forget to visit Alexandra, my lovely co-host!

I don’t have a whole lot for you this month. I really need to take pictures of things! However, I thought I’d give you a mini update of some of the things I am working on/working toward.

Planner

I’m still regularly using my planner, of course. I got some more pens that erase in different colors – instead of just the red that I’ve been using – and I love it. It’s so nice to be able to just erase things if they don’t happen or something changes in my schedule. I do need to decorate in my planner more though!

Entertainment Bullet Journal

I’m about a month and a half behind, so I really need to get up to date on that. Most things are written down somewhere – books read on Goodreads, movies I saw in my planner – but I still want to keep up with it better, especially for my monthly playlists. I sometimes save those on Google Drive, but I do often forget so I need to be more proactive about that before I start forgetting all the songs I listened to in a specific month.

Scrapbooking/Project Life

Alexandra has inspired me to try Project Life. I ordered a couple things that I need to get started, but I’m still waiting for those to come in. My plan is to make a Project Life album for my London trip. I think it will be a slightly easier way of documenting my trip – and it will be nice to finally have that done and sorted since it’s been over two years since I went. I’ll be sharing more as I work on it though, don’t worry!

  1. Planners are the best, aren’t they? I have just started using a non-planner planner. Maybe I should post about it!

I think putting together a Project Life from your trip is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing it!

  2. I need to get better at filling in and making my planner fun! Sometimes it works, and I find I really grab for it more because the spreads make me happy. Is that weird? Always inspired to see what others are doing with theirs! Hope you are enjoying the week, Lauren!!

  3. I have heard of Project Life but had to look it up again because I had forgotten what it was. Seems to be a lot like just scrapbooking. How is it different? I am trying so hard to finish up pictures from our trip to Germany 18 months ago. Ready to start something else.

Ugh, I really wanted to do a Project Life Binder… and I ordered stuff and never got around to actually using it 🙁 I feel terrible that I often have so many ambitions and no time to do it all.

  5. “I really need to take pictures of things!” haha sounds like me 🙂 I always regret not taking pics when I’m setting up my BuJo spreads. I was obsessed for a very long time about finding erasable pens I liked but never did 🙁 I’ll have to check Project Life! Sound like something I would love 🙂
