Memory Keeping

How is it the third Thursday of the month already?! Well, I’m back with the lovely Alexandra for our Keep It Together link-up. If you have a planner/scrapbook/memory keeping type of post to share, link up with us! We would love to have you.

Today, I’m here to talk about scrapbooking. I used to scrapbook all the time when I was younger. I was the person in my friend group always taking pictures and I’d then turn those into fun scrapbook pages. I wouldn’t say I was the best or most creative, but it was a fun way to keep memories instead of just using a regular photo album. However, it’s been years now since I’ve really scrapbooked and I want to get back into it. For one thing, I have lots of printed photos that I still need to deal with – and then I want to print out all those photos that are just languishing online and scrapbooking them would be fun!

Most importantly though, I really want to scrapbook my trip to London, England (which I took almost two years ago). At first I was just going to put the London photos in an album and scrapbook the Harry Potter aspects of the trip – there are a few – but I’m thinking I might scrapbook everything. I’ll have to see – it would be a big album (or two different albums). At any rate, shopping for scrapbook supplies is half the fun of being a scrapbooker so I headed to Etsy to see what I could find that might be suitable for a London/Harry Potter scrapbook. Tell me what you think – as well is if I should do one or two scrapbooks for this trip – in the comments!

Cream of the Crop Shoppe is a fun Etsy store with lots of London themed stickers:

The above stickers are $2.49 and you can get them here. Some other London themed stickers here and here. I will definitely be visiting this shop again!

If you’re a planner – or scrapbooker – then you all know about the fun of washi tape! The Etsy shop DaDaStickers has some really cute London and travel themed washi tape rolls. The above London Landmarks washi tape can be found here and there is even washi tape for the London tube.

How cute are these London Project Journal Cards? These are a just a handful of the cards – you get 8 – and you can see them all here. Plus, these are only $2!! The shop Pug Paper Co has some other fun items too (especially if you are a planner) so definitely check them out.

Moving on to Harry Potter specific items – I have a couple pages of HP themed stickers that I could use already, but who doesn’t love looking at HP items? Here are some other possibilities-

Shop My Rubber Stamp has some adorable Harry Potter items (stickers and washi tape galore!) I mean, how cute are those mini HP stickers above? You can find them here. You can also get some Harry Potter icons washi tape here or these fun HP planner stickers that can easily be used for scrapbooking.

These fun Harry Potter die cuts can be found hereย and the shop owner, Patti Chic Creations, has a few other HP inspired items too.

Finally, there is some cute Harry Potter confetti, which you can get here from the shop Lou Cat Studio.

What do you think? Some fun items I could use for my future scrapbooks?

  1. I love the washi tape and little cards! So cute. There are so many fun travel themed items in the scrapbook world! ๐Ÿ™‚ I love Kelly Purkey’s travel themed stamps. They are so great because I can use them in every album if I want to! They have such fun themes like: “I ate this, I drank this, I saw this, etc.” and more of course. So jelly! I’d love to go to London! ๐Ÿ™‚ XO – Alexandra

I have just started to scrapbook our trip to London from 2017. We loved the Harry Potter everything we saw. Need this for my scrapbook.

  3. Wow! You’re right! It’s the third Tuesday of August! When I read that I totally didn’t believe it!

Scrapbooking is so awesome but I just don’t have enough time in my day at the moment! Hopefully I can go back to being able to be slightly more creative? I love these ideas and the supplies you’ve found are awesome, especially the HP stuff!

  4. I used to scrapbook and still have my books. It is such a fun hobby, but I feel that it can also be very time consuming and it CAN be expensive… or at least, maybe I just spend too much time looking at all of the stickers, etc. at Hobby Lobby and it adds up quickly! heehee! I think a London scrapbook will be so perfect!!

  5. These are all such cute items to add to your London scrapbook! I keep meaning to jump back into scrapbooking, it’s been a long time since I’ve done any. I’m still in the middle of finishing a baby book for my four year old!

  6. Oh I love all the fun stickers and scrapbooking supplies. Please tell me you’ll share your finished product–it looks like it will turn out awesome!

  7. I’ve always liked the idea of scrapbooking, and if I scrapbooked I’d totally do a Harry Potter themed one from my trip to London too! I had no idea there were so many crafty things for Harry Potter, so thanks for sharing!
