Local Tourist Blog Link-Up

Local Tourist is normally the last weekday of the month, but I have another post that needs to go live tomorrow, so I”m a little bit early. However, this link-up is done with Dara from Not In Jersey and we’d love for you to share your own “local” posts!

Local Tourist: it's time to share all the fun, local things you did in July 2018! #ontheblog #localtourist Click To Tweet

A Look Back on July…

It’s so crazy to me that it’s already the end of July. This year really has been flying by, but it’s been a fun one, so I can’t really complain.

Now, what fun local events did me and my family enjoy this month?

In early July, we went to the Butterfly Fest in Loveland, Ohio and you can find my review here.

About mid-July, my mom and I went to Uptown Art in Cincinnati, which is one of those wine and paint places. We just go to make fun art, and this was one of my mom’s monthly dates as part of her Christmas gift. We’d never been to this particular studio, but it was a lot of fun and we’d definitely go back!

We’ve Reached the End…

Finally, I had a really busy week this past week and I’ll be writing up those posts soon, so you won’t see them until August’s Local Tourist. However, I will let you know that I saw Niall Horan and Maren Morris in concert in Cincinnati (they are both amazing live) and I also saw Trevor Noah’s stand-up at the Ohio State Fair (hilarious!), which is in Columbus.

  1. I love going to those paint places, they are so much fun! I took my mom as a part of her Christmas gift this year too! I love exploring my own city too, it’s such a great idea!

  2. Sounds like you had a great July! Lots of busy events! I’m excited for the new month ahead but sad it’s almost the end of summer!

Those paint and wine places are always so fun! I love how both of yours turned out slightly different. I can’t believe this is the last day of July! Crazy town!
