It’s MAY! And my Birthday Month, so I’m excited!

Admiring: All the people that also attended the Walk MS event in Cincinnati this past Saturday. The weather was great, and it was a lot of fun. Plus, my sister and I both raised enough money to get a t-shirt at the event (and my brother got a different shirt for free since he has MS). Thank you to everyone who donated to my campaign!

Playing: Nina Nesbitt’s new album; The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change. I’ve loved Nina’s music for years now, and I even got to see her perform last year and it was amazing, and really exciting, because she’s a Scottish singer-songwriter so I didn’t think I’d get to see her in my city! Anyway, I love her new album and I highly recommend it.

Borrowing: Lots and lots of library books. I got a big stack last week when I went for a craft event, and then I’ve been borrowing a ton of e-books lately!

Remembering: Book quotes that I love for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday. The topic was inspirational/thought-provoking quotes, but I love all types of quotes from books. I’m trying to keep track of them better in my bullet journal as I read too.

Finishing: Final dance practices for my tap class. Our recital is this Saturday and I’m really excited. We’re doing two different tap numbers, and I think the costume is really cute. Plus, my niece and nephew dance and I’ll be able to watch their recital later in the day since it’s at a different time!!

Yay on this being your birthday month, and I hope you get all of the free goodies available at the restaurants! Very cool about the tap dancing, which sounds like so much fun. I’m all in with loving the library too! Hugs…RO

  2. How fun that you will be in a recital! Gabbie has recital soon too. She is taking adult tap this summer since they don’t have tap for her age – maybe I should join her, lol!

  3. Hope your shoulder is feeling better! Happy Birthday month!! Our library is closing for the month for renovations and I’m so sad about it!

  4. Yay for big library stacks, and still so jealous of your tap class. I haven’t been able to find an adult class in town, but I took it as an adult when I lived in a different city and just loved it. Hope you have so much fun with your recital!

  5. Awww thatโ€™s awesome youโ€™ve been taking rap classes! Best of luck in your recital this weekend. And what a great cause to walk for and spread awareness about, especially since it affects your family personally. โค๏ธ

And yay for big stacks of library books!

  6. SO exciting for your dance recital! I hope it goes well! And it’s awesome you’ll still get to see your niece and nephew dance too, kiddo dance recitals are so much fun!

  7. That is wonderful you did the MS walk and raised money for it! Way to go! I love reading e books too. I don’t often have time to get to the library so the online lending library is really convenient for me!

  8. Happy birthday month! I hope you have lots of fun things planned! Tap class sounds like so much fun! Kick butt on your recital!!

  10. I love that you keep track of quotes in books that you really enjoy and have meaning to you. I really should start doing that! I’ve been reading a lot lately, especially now that my new car can do audio books, too!
