Did you know that Barnes N Noble has monthly book picks? There are always six books and if you buy one of them, you can choose another for 50% off. I don’t always find two books that I really want from the list, but I did for May!

This is their mystery pick for May. I haven’t read the author before, but this one sounds super intriguing. I love a good mystery!
We Came, We Saw, We Left: A Family Gap Year by Charles Wheelan – check it out
This is their nonfiction choice for the month. I’ve actually had this on my wish list for awhile, so I was really excited to see it as a monthly choice. I knew I had to get it!

I just started noticing their monthly picks a couple of months ago. It’s always such an interesting variety of books.
I didn’t know that about B&N. I do get one freebie from Prime Reads every month.

Oooh, so THAT’s what that was! I stopped in the store in April for the first time in months because I needed to pick up a birthday present, and I saw some “spot lighted” by the checkout line. Specifically the 50% off sign caught my eye! That’s pretty cool, I hope you enjoy!
It’s funny because my problem, literally every month, is that there is one I am dying for, but not a second, so I end up buying neither 😂 So I am VERY glad that you ended up being able to find two this month. Cross your fingers for me in June heh. Hope you love them!
I’ve never heard of this deal and probably wouldn’t. Most books stores don’t showcase books I actually want to read.
