My Butt is SO SILLY! (Review + Giveaway)

I am so excited to share a series review for you today! These picture books are sure to amuse and delight many young readers. I know my nieces and nephew think all things butt related are HILARIOUS!

The books go in the following order:

I Need a New Butt!

I Broke My Butt!

My Butt is SO NOISY!

My Butt is SO SILLY!

A young boy is introduced in I Need a New Butt! and when he realizes there’s a crack down the middle of his butt, he thinks that it’s broken and he needs a new one. I love this whole premise! Author Dawn McMillan creates funny, rhyming stories, and they are accompanied with colorful and fun illustrations by Ross Kinnaird.

I Broke My Butt! continues the theme when our protagonist has a bike accident and breaks his butt into pieces. He puts all the pieces on a tray and glues them together, and voila! His butt is A-Okay now…except it’s attached to the tray. A tray on your butt? It’s perfect for sledding and more!

Next up is My Butt is SO NOISY! and it’s all about the crazy, random noises that a butt makes. At first, our guy is embarrassed but he soon realizes that some people wish they could make the noises he does, and it’s really a talent that can take him far!

And finally, we have the newest release – My Butt is SO SILLY! It’s tough having a butt that never wants to sit still. It’s hopping, bouncing, making noises, and disrupting his parent’s sleep! But is a silly butt a positive sometimes? Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out!

All the books can be reads as standalones, but I think they would be more fun read in order. These are sure to crack kids up, and they would make fun read-alouds at home. If you have a reluctant young reader, check out this series.
