I’m obsessed with planning parties, and while I haven’t had to plan a wedding in my time, I do love thinking of different themes and designs. Therefore, I checked out Paperless Post in hopes of finding an invitation I could kind of “design” around to share with all of you, since Fall wedding season is fast approaching!
I ended up finding the Lanterns Wedding Invitation above in Sherbert. You can choose from a few other colors too, but the Sherbert is the one I have above! You can always find your own invitation on the website too though. They have many designs! What I like about this invitation, besides it being super adorable and great for a Fall wedding, is that you can use it as an e-invite or get a paper version.
With this invitation in mind, I created this fun collage of other items I thought would be great for a picture perfect fall wedding.

If I were getting married, I would choose Fall as the time because it’s my favorite season and I think darker colors are nice. At the same time, you don’t have to go too dark as seen by this orange/pink/sherbert look I have created!
What do you think? Would you use any of these elements at your wedding or even just a fun party?
I love how that cake has a watercolor look to it. I really like the overall sherbet colors of the theme.
I learned I love to plan parties when I helped with my best friend's sweet 16! I agree, fall would be my option for weddings. I love Fall <3

This looks like a fun read and I love all the amazing ideas people come up with for these type of things. There truly are some amazingly talented people out there!
Oh that's super cute! I'm not really very creative but I like when there are ideas already presented to work with. Very cool!
Love these ideas. My niece is getting married and this would be perfect for her.
Those are some gorgeous ideas
I made my invitations and a few other things for my wedding. It would have been nice to have found a book like this back then. Thanks for sharing.
This is really cool, Lauren! I got married so long ago there was no internet yet, so we went the old fashioned way and went to a printer to have ours made. It's really neat that most things can be personalized now 🙂

I love the orange and pink combination. Not sure if I'd ever be brave enough to use it, though; it's pretty bold!
I love the floating lanterns. I was originally going to use similar colors for my wedding but changed them. Those are all really cute ideas!
I am always up for a DIY project, regardless if it is for a wedding or just for fun 🙂 I so want to try to make a paper latern, my little girls would love it! Especially since Rapunzel is one of their absolute favorite movies. Great review Lauren 🙂
I'm totally not getting married yet, but this moodboard-y thing is BEAUTIFUL. If I could choose a date to get married, it would be sometime in Autumn, because it's just the most beautiful season, don't you think? Unfortunately my boyfriend is planning to join the army soon, so we'll be getting married at their convenience. Which will probably be in the spring/summer. Yuck.
