Photowall Canvas Review

I love canvases, and I think the ability to personalize them is even better. When I was contacted about reviewing a canvas from Photowall, I was very excited. I could have chosen an image from their site, but I decided to upload my own image. My mom, sister, and I all went to London, England in September 2016. It was mine and my mom’s first time there, so my mom thought a picture from our trip would be a wonderful way to remember that fantastic week. The one we chose was actually taken on the first day we got to London, and as you can tell by the umbrellas, it was raining. It was one of the only days it rained while were in London, which was nice, but rain is such an iconic aspect of London, so all in all, it’s a really fun picture. Also, it shows Big Ben! Win-Win-Win!

What I love about the company is that it’s 100% guaranteed, they ship worldwide, and it’s free shipping in EU (they are a Swedish company). Also, if you buy one of their wall murals, the wallpaper paste is included. As for the canvases, like I mentioned above, you can choose from one of their many designs or you can upload your own photo. You can also choose to have a do-it-yourself frame included or just the rolled up canvas. I decided to get the frame so we could immediately use it!

I actually had my dad put the frame together. He said that it was easy and took no time at all. The box comes with directions and it has corner brackets to screw into the frame to keep everything together. The box even came with screws, so almost everything you need is included. Once the frame is together, you just lay the canvas flat on the table and then wrap it around the frame. The frame has stickers, if you will, that you pull back, and you fold the canvas onto these to keep it all together. Hopefully that all makes sense, but basically, it’s not a difficult process and I think the end result turned out well!

What picture would you choose to turn into a canvas? I’d love to know in the comments!

  1. It’s such a cute photo to turn into canvas. Love it! Also, I’ve never heard of this company but it sounds like they know how to do their job right. I’ll need to check their website. Thanks for the review!

  2. Oh that is so fun! I have so many family pictures I’d love to turn into a canvas, it makes it easier to hang up and not deal with the frames!

  3. I love that photo and yes, very typical London weather! I have never been to England, but would love to go sometime. My husband has been there for school and work, so I think it is my turn! LOL! I love canvases, I have a couple in my home and need more!

  4. That’s such a great photo! I’ve never heard of a company that didn’t ship the canvas already wrapped on the frame, but it’s nice to hear theirs is easy to put together!

  5. Oh that’s interesting. I have a canvas print of my old cat up on my wall, it came already assembled (so the package it arrived in was huge). I think it’s pretty cool that they send them this way and you can put them together yourself!

Your canvas print looks great. I like how it makes them the centre of attention as opposed to photos in a regular frame, where you’re often drawn by the frame itself.

  6. Aw, this is such a great gift idea. I think I may want to use one of my wedding pics and gift a canvas pic to my in-laws! They would love this so much.

  7. Love this Lauren! I actually saw a similar product on another blog recently and got a little jealous! I love hanging photos but I also love the depth and texture that a canvas brings. This is the perfect combination!

  8. I love hanging up canvases–it’s nice to have framed pictures but I like that these give the option of not having to frame. And what a fun pic and memory!!

  9. How lovely.

Whilst I’m not too keen on family photographs on the wall I’d perhaps like to see my grandparents wedding photograph as a canvas. Or then again there are any number of my favourite book covers that would look great.

  10. I love canvas prints too Lauren, all the artwork throughout my house is on canvas frames. It just makes it seem more personal. I’ve never considered using my own images though until now, I’m actually surprised how lovely they look and that photo of the three of you in London with your umbrellas is so British, absolutely love it! What a brilliant gift idea as well, will be checking them out! <3

  11. What a lovely idea. Someday, you will treasure that even more. I would certainly find a fun picture of my mom and use it. Have a wonderful week, Lauren.

What a fun picture, and now preserved memory! I have been wanting to do a wall canvas for a while. Thanks for sharing this company with us.

  13. That’s a pretty canvas print you created. I like that the company offers free shipping. I have several canvas prints on my living room wall of my family.
