Tuesday, December 27 is a special Show Us Your Books with Steph and Jana, where everyone is showing off their top books read in 2016!
I’m currently fighting an ear infection/fever, so I haven’t been feeling all that well. Therefore, I’m going to link to just the Goodreads pages for these books and not my own reviews. If you want my review of any of these, let me know and I’ll direct you when I’m feeling more up to it!
-Lauren

Nice, I really want to read Gemina!
Loved Last Seen Leaving!! Really want to read Gemina and We Are the Ants. I just started The Woman in Cabon 10. Great picks!
I loved Gemina, too. So cool you got to meet the authors! Adulthood is a Myth looks like a laugh, might have to pick it up.
I added Without Trace and We are the Ants to my TBR list!
I added and entered the GR giveaway for Adulthood is a Myth – I'll just have to run and buy it at B&N with a coupon b/c I love her!!! I have Last Seen Leaving and I still need to read it but I WILL!! And I'll get to Gemina soon!! Anyways, your list totally rocks and I love the complete diversity in genres and age ranges!!!!
I hope you're feeling better!!! Ear infections with the fever totally suck!! Booo, Hiss!!!!!
I'm currently reading The Woman in Cabin 10. I don't hate it. But it's hard to figure out how you feel about a book when all the characters are unlikeable, you know?
We Are the Ants is on my list so I definitely need to pick it up soon! I also looove Stiefvater so glad to see she made your list! 🙂
I really like Last Seen Leaving! Now I want to read Gemina. 🙂 I hope you feel better soon!
I have a Shaun David Hutchinson book on my best of list, too, so I need to add We Are the Ants!
I LOVED We Are the Ants. It's one of my faves of 2016 for sure.
oh how cool that you got to meet the two authors!! Gemina is on my list/in my library pile, but it's due back tomorrow and…. i'm out of renewals. boo. i'll get to it next year!
Blue Lily, Lily Blue! I'm going to end up naming one of my animals that in the future because it's so pretty. I've only read that one and Adulthood is a Myth which is basically me in a nutshell. Oh, I did read The Raven Boys too of course.
Hope you have even more 5 star books in 2017!
Me Before You is an amazing book 🙂 I haven't read any of these other books though!! I should probably remedy that – some of them sound really good.
Nice list. I read a couple of them, but I really want to read We Are the Ants.
So many on my TBR! I'm going to have to move Me Before You and Gemina up the list. 😀
Great list! I love Adulthood is a Myth and Gemina! I really must read The Raven Boys sometime soon!
I liked The Woman in Cabin 10, and Gemina is one I need to read SOON lol. Adulthood is a Myth looks hilarious and I think I'd love it. 🙂
Oh dang, being sick over the Holidays is a bummer! I hope you get to feeling better and thanks for sharing your list. Always a ton of good stuff 🙂
Oh my goodness, I have only read TWO books on your list, I fail! I read Gemina, and enjoyed it quite a bit, and I LOOOOVED The Memory Book so much! I need to read We Are the Ants, finish The Raven Cycle, Me Before You, and start Wolf by Wolf! And Timekeeper! And Last Seen Leaving! I guess I have a LOT of books to read hahah. Great choices! Hope you feel better soon!
I really enjoyed Me Before You (and the follow-up After You). And I've been meaning to read The Memory Book for a while but just have not got to it yet. Sorry to hear you're under the weather, Lauren! Sure hope you feel better soon.
Just added a bunch of these to my TBR list! I'm excited to read some of the LGBT ones, because I really don't think I've read many. Yay for diversity in books. 🙂
Still haven't read We Are All Ants. Gah. So many books I've missed this year.
What a list! Hope you feel better soon!
Wow I would love to read some of these! I needed som new suggestions, thank you! #happynowlinkup
Great list. I'm seeing We Are the Ants popping up on many people's best of 2016 list actually, which has me bumping it up my TBR for sure. I'm happy to see The Raven Cycle books on your list as well because I really loved them in 2016 too 🙂
