It’s just about Spring and I’m definitely excited for some, hopefully, warmer temperatures, Granted, it’s supposed to rain and possibly snow a lot this week so we’ll see how that goes. At any rate, I’m excited to join in again with some bloggers to share what is on my Spring 2018 Bucket list. Join us?

  1. Go to the Cincinnati Zoo
  2. Go to Washington Park
  3. Join a Gym
  4. Go to the Drive-In
  5. Do something fun for my birthday (it’s May 30th; I don’t have a set idea at the moment)
  6. Host my friend’s baby shower
  7. Go to the Dari-Bar (it’s an ice cream place near me)
  8. See Aladdin the Musical (I do have tickets!)

  1. OMG! Aladdin was so wonderful! I saw it years ago in previews (I live near the city). Yum to ice cream parlor, fun to the zoo. Good luck with the baby shower, and the gym. I hope you join and go there. The cold weather has me unmotivated, but I hope to get back to it soon. Good luck with your bucket list.

  2. Great list! We are planning on doing bathroom remodels this spring and summer so that is huge on my list but I would also love to exercise more. I was better at it but lately I’ve been seriously slacking.

Good luck with all of your goals!

  3. I am SO ready for spring! And I love your spring list, I was just talking with my son this morning about going to our zoo this spring too, it’s been a while since we have been AND they’ll have farm babies this spring so it would be a lot of fun to go do!

  4. This sounds like such a fun Spring bucket list! I’ve heard great things about Aladdin the musical, so I do hope that you enjoy it and everything else on here! πŸ™‚

  5. This is fun! I should make a spring bucket list–I do have a spring reading list though πŸ™‚ I love that you have an ice cream place to visit. That’s my kind of bucket list item!

What a great list! I am so ready for spring. It has been a long winter. I’ll be welcoming my son into the world, so it will sure be an exciting adventure!

  7. I have a lot of things planned for Spring, hoping to squeeze in some fun stuff too. I am looking forward to getting outside and replanting my flowers and sitting outside.

  8. What a great list! I can’t wait to hear what you think of Aladdin. I’d love to go see that musical too.

I don’t have much specific planned for spring yet, but I’m just so excited to be able to get out and about and enjoy the warm weather. Strolls downtown, cooking on the grill, reading on my deck, etc.

  9. I would LOVE to see Aladdin the musical! I hope you have a great 30th birthday. I’ve been to a drive in when I was a kid but I went a couple years ago and it’s so much cooler!

  10. We are going to the Zoo on Wednesday! We became members last summer and still have a lot of passes to use up! You can’t beat ice cream! There is a Shake Shack that just opened here that I want to try. My son’s birthday is in May, such a great month for a birthday IMHO!

  11. I love these! I have a suggestion for the baby shower. I went to one on Sunday and each person decorated a plain wooden block letter with sharpie markers. If you go this route, have sharpie pens available to write a message to the baby and sign your name. The markers tend to bleed.

  12. Fun! I did my spring bucket list yesterday, too! I definitely want to do more outdoorsy things, and I’m a spring baby, too – hope you find something fun to do for your birthday!

  13. I love this!! Your whole list sounds super fun (well except the baby shower– I’m not a big fan of going to showers in general, but it’s super nice of you to host one for your friend!!). I would totally benefit from making a list like this because so far my spring is looking like– soccer practice, soccer games (for my kid), sitting on my ass, being sad because it’s still cold. Oh, I am totally going to a Jesse Andrews signing, so there’s that!!

  14. It sounds like a lovely spring in store for you, Lauren. One of the things that I want to do more of (but somehow did not make my spring bucket list) is to see more live entertainment. I hope you enjoy Aladdin–and everything else on your list. Happy Spring!

  15. Some great things on your list. You have lots of time to make plans for your b’day. Mine is coming up in April.

Is the drive-in you mention a real DRIVE-IN movie? If so, I would love to go, too!! My parents took us quite often as kids. My mom would pop a huge brown grocery bag with popcorn and we would all jump in the family station wagon with lots of blankets and pillows. Great memories.

If you have a Planet Fitness nearby, I highly recommend that gym. So affordable for almost any income. Try the hydro massage! YUM.

    Thanks for linking up.

Yes, a real drive in! It’s been around since I was a kid, and I just love it! I want to go more, but it’s usually about once or twice during the season.

  16. Love your seasonal bucket lists! I have a great local ice cream place, too. It’s called the Dreamette and has been around since the 1940’s, I think. Such a neat little place. How cool that you still have a drive-in theater! I miss that experience. I remember my parents taking us when we were kids. πŸ™‚
