The Alone Time by Elle Marr

copy sent for review; all opinions are my own

I believe this is the third book I’ve read by Elle Marr and it’s one of my favorites. It follows the dual POV Fiona and Violet Seng, who years before, were the survivors of a plane crash that took their parents. There is also POV’s from the time the girls were surviving in the wilderness before being rescued, which really amped up the tension and mystery. Now that it’s been 25-years, someone is ready to do a documentary and once the girls agree to be interviewed, they realize they’ve made a big mistake.

I thought The Alone Time was pretty fast moving throughout, which I always appreciate in a mystery. Plus, there were a lot of different shocks and surprises, so double yay! Like I said above, I’ve read books by Elle Marr before, and The Alone Time definitely gets moved close to the top. I ultimately gave it 4 stars and I would recommend to those that enjoy a good family-focused mystery. This seems like an especially good read for the summertime.
