You may or may not know, but I actually run my own freelance publicity business. I work with authors or smaller businesses in trying to answer their questions, as well as come up with the most ideal ways of promoting their product. I even try and do most of the emailing, etc. if I can when it comes to contacting others to promote your work…as I know you’re probably super busy doing other things, like selling your products or writing your next book! At any rate, I’m currently open to accepting new clients so if you’re interested, please get in touch. I’d be happy to do a guest post or interview for your blog about my business if you think your readers would be interested as well!
The main reason I’m making this post though is to share some upcoming books that I’m super excited about reading. The reason I mentioned my business above is because essentially, these are some of the books/authors I would love to work with in terms of promotion! Each book title will be linked to Amazon so you can add this to your wish list, pre-order, or just read the summaries!!

Again, I think all of these books sound amazing and I’d love to do something to help spread the word. Whether that is posting about it on my blog, or adding the author as a client, it doesn’t matter!
But for the rest of you, do these books sound just as good to you?! What other titles are you waiting for?
Oh, I had no idea that you run a freelance publicity business — that's so cool! Maybe, if I write a book and am in need of some publicity, I'll come to you? 🙂 It'll be waaaay in the future (because my book-writing is very slow right now), but I'm so glad you told me! And all of those books look fantastic too — I only know of some so far, so the rest I just had to add! 😉
Thanks for sharing, Lauren! 🙂 <3
splintered and velveteen are on my to read list also!
Like Mimi, I think it's really cool your run a freelance publicity business! I haven't heard of Beautiful Music for Ugly Children but it's certainly an intriguing title. I'm very excited for Splintered because Alice in Wonderland! 2013 is too far away though, sigh.
Velveteen definitely looks interesting! I can't wait until more reviews start popping up!
I clicked on all the links. I want to read them all, especially the first three since I love contemporary YA.
I had yet to hear about some of these titles. Yes, they look good. Looking forward to what is in store.
I must say, the covers for all these books are SUPER gorgeous!
Splintered and Velveteen in particularly sound awesome.
I love the Personal Effects cover so much! I know nothing about the book so I'll go explore a little bit.
I have an e-copy of Velveteen, but I have no idea when I'll get around to it. Hopefully soon.
