Why I Want to Read: For one thing, I want to read more books written in verse. But beyond that, I just love the sound of this book. It seems like a very powerful contemporary novel and I love books like that. Plus, LOVE the cover.

Novels in verse are hit or miss for me, so there's always some risk, but when they work, they work splendidly. Plus, the cover is absolutely gorgeous! I really want to give this a try.
I have to say that a lot of these sort of books with the raw topics are coming to light a lot more. And I admit, whilst I'm not always a fan I think I should, give them a go too. Great pick!
