Nice Girls Don’t Date Dead Men by Molly Harper

Sadly, I can’t find a summary for this book but don’t fret! It’s the second in a series. The first is called Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs and it’s absolutely amazing. If you love humor or vampires you have GOT to read this one. Not only that, but the main character is a librarian. Oh yeah, she’s a book freak like the rest of us so now you know you’re stoked about picking this one up.

And look, I’ll make it easy. If you buy it on Amazon it’s only $7.99! Not bad at all

I hope that works. If not, just look it up. It’s easy.

Anyway, Nice Girls Don’t Date Dead Men:

-Out on August 25, 2009
-Molly Harper is from KY and so am I. (Yay!)
-Again, it’s the second in the series, so read the first if you haven’t already!

What do you all think?!

  1. I’ve never heard of this series, but it sounds like fun! Plus, the cover is gorgeous, and we need more librarians/book lovers as protagonists. Yay!

  2. Ladybug: Yay, I love to hear that. I really hope you do and that you enjoy it as much as I do. It’s a ton of fun.

Carrie: Of course librarians rule, we need more in literature! 🙂 And I’d love to know what you think whenever you get a chance to read it. Thanks, glad you liked the pick.

  3. Lauren-

Thanks for letting me know about this. I got Borders gift cards for my b-day so I’m going to be looking for the first in this series when I stop by!! I love reading about librarians and book lovers!:)

  4. here is the synopsis for the book.

Life as the undead is finally settling down for Jane Jameson. Her somewhat unhealthy relationship with her sire, Gabriel Nightengale, is slowly coming into focus. She loves her new job at Specialty Books. Her family, well, her father, is adjusting well to her condition. Her mother believes that if Jane would just try hard enough, she wouldn’t have to be a vampire anymore.

With Zeb’s Titanic-themed nuptials looming on the horizon, Jane is forced to wear a bridesmaid’s dress her body may reject like a faulty organ. And Zeb’s mother seems hell-bent on stopping the wedding if she can’t have Jane for a daughter-in-law.

In other matrimonial shenanigans, the passing of Grandma Ruthie’s fiancé, Bob, puts her back on the market. Ruthie’s new fiancé, Wilbur, smells like old cheese, has his own sordid history of suspiciously dead spouses, and died more than 20 years ago.

With daytime funerals, mother-of-the-groom hijinks, and Styrofoam icebergs to contend with, will Jane survive her best friend’s wedding? Will she have to make nice with her possibly murderous, definitely creepy, future step-grandpa? What’s a nice undead girl to do?

  5. I Heart Monster: You’re welcome and definitely. I read the first one and it became a new favorite for sure.

Insert Book Title: It is for sure!! You have to check it out.

Amber: Thank you SO much. I couldn’t find it and it made me sad. It sounds great and I can’t wait for August.
