Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Books On My Fall 2019 TBR
These are some of the books that I’d like to read this Fall, but I don’t own them (yet), so we’ll see how I do. At any rate, I like sharing books I’m interested in and getting recommendations back, so I had to take part in Top Ten Tuesday this week – even if I’m a bit late!

Loki was SO good! I hope you love that one!
The Killer You Know looks interesting. Hope you enjoy your Fall TBR, Lauren! 🙂
Imaginary Friend looks so good!
I loved the film of Pan’s Labyrinth.
The Killer You Know and Talking to Strangers sound like good ones. Hope your day is amazing! Hugs, RO
NICE list Lauren! I hope you enjoy Chase the Darkness — it was a totally fascinating audio-listen for me. And The Killer You know certainly has my attention!
Fall reading is just the best! I am really intrigued by The Killer You Know. I hope that you enjoy all of these. 🙂
I enjoyed Tunnel of Bones and Loki, so I hope you like them too! Happy Reading. 🙂
I haven’t read any of them! Hope you get to read them though!
Glad you linked up! I haven’t read any of these but I’ve seen a lot of positive reviews for Imaginary Friend. Hope you get to read some of these this season!
lead me not into temptation.
Thanks for what sound like some really readable books. I have a thing about Norse mythology at the moment and so Loki: Where Mischief Lies intrigues me. One of the few films with subtitles that I I have watched and enjoyed, Pan’s Labyrinth: The Labyrinth of the Faun (love the cover) is most definitely a book I look out for as is Silent Night, Deadly Night which looks ideal for the Christmas Spirit reading challenge
I hope you enjoy whichever ones you end up reading!! I love the movie Pan’s Labyrinth, so I’m curious about the book.
Pan’s Labyrinth is one I really want to read! You’ve got some great picks on here!
I enjoyed Top Secret so much! I hope you’ll love it, too!
I just found out about the Pan’s Labyrinth book yesterday and I want to read it so badly. The movie is just phenomenal.
I need to get around to City of Ghosts soon for spooky season. My daughter loved the first book and she’s been asking when the sequel came out 🙂
Thanks for commenting on my TTT!
I can’t wait to grab a copy of Pan’s Labrinth too Lauren, even for just the cover alone. Is Tunnel of Bones Victoria Schwab’s middle grade series? I still haven’t read anything of hers but thinking her middle grade is probably a great place to start. Which also reminds me, you’ll need a TTT banner as well. Such great picks Lauren, looking forward to checking these out!
Thanks, Kelly! And yes, Tunnel of Bones is the second MG novel by Schwab – the first in the series is City of Ghosts which I really loved.
Yes, City of Ghosts is great for this time of the year! And I love the movie Pan’s Labyrinth too
These all sound really good, especially some good sounding thrillers for this time of year! I’ll have to see if I can find any!
I seem to mostly go for thrillers in the fall but honestly, I don’t have many at all which is weird. I really want to finish all of the books I have by Brittainy C. Cherry, I think I have five to go. I need to get cracking, BUT I also have a ton of book up for review between now and the end of December so I’m not sure how far I’ll get.
I have only read one of the books that made your list. I read an early copy of Top Secret and loved it. I hope you enjoy all of these!
These are all new to me. Talking to Strangers sounds interesting. Going to follow your link to check it out. What constitutes a stranger these days? For example, are we strangers? With the Internet, our big world seems a lot smaller.
Oh I just heard Malcolm Gladwell interviewed on Oprah’s podcast and his book sounds really good! Most of these others are new to me, but they sound interesting!
I read his interview in Oprah’s magazine and I had to add it to my list!
Oh man. Top Secret is soo good. I also want to read tha latest by Stephen Chobasky.
Happy reading!
I haven’t read any of these yet (I’ve watched Pan’s Labyrinth though!), but I tend to like your picks, so I’ll be checking up on these on Goodreads and probably adding at least a few to my to-read list as well! 😛
You’ll have to let me know what you read!
Okay I want to read all of ten these! No wonder they are on your list. This fall I have resolved to read more, and last week I read 2 books! Yay for me 🙂 Adding these now!
There are a bunch of new releases in the coming next few weeks that I am really excited about. Your fall to-read list looks great. Talking to Strangers sounds interesting. That Vicki Delany series sounds fun. Top Secret sounds good too, I heard a lot of great things about it, looking forward to hear your thoughts on that one.
I forgot all about Loki. I really want to read that one!
Do you listen to Malcolm Gladwell’s podcast, Revisionist History? Super interesting and well done – and this season they had one chapter from the audiobook version of his new release. The recording of the audiobook is a bit more podcast-like and it was SO good. Definitely going to be waiting till I can get the audio of the book before I read that one!
Ooooh, I hope you get to Top Secret soon! It was so so good! 🙂
For me, I have been on a Thriller kick recently and hope to knock some of those out. I really want to read Riley Sager soon.
Thanks for sharing!
I looked into Pan’s Labyrinth in the story and it looks so beautiful!
I really want to read Tunnel of Bones, as well! Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of City of Ghosts, it’s definitely a series I want to continue because I have a feeling it will just get better and better.
I am pretty keen on Loki, as well, because he is one of my favourite Marvel characters, and I’ve heard that Lee is writing him as canonically queer, which is so exciting!!
A book I am really looking forward to reading as soon as it arrives is Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater! I cannot wait to see the next chapter of Ronan’s story *.*
Ooh yes, I love Ronan. Can’t wait for more about him!
