Hey, everyone! How has your weekend been?
I’m writing today to let you know about a new Facebook Group that I’ve created. I’ve been sharing about this here and there, but I figured I’d make it’s own post to hopefully spread the word a bit more.
What’s the group about, you ask?
Well, it’s called the Book Blogger Group!
Anyone who writes about books – in any capacity – can join the group. You don’t have to just write about books; I’m honestly not picky when it comes to the group! There is a new post everyday (and one on Saturday for the whole weekend) where you can share your latest post – it doesn’t have to be book related! Share it all!
The idea behind this groups is to help new people find your blog and leave comments, of course, but also to get people some new clicks/views. If there are a lot of posts and you can’t comment on many, just view the rest! Clicks/views are important to bloggers too – even if we do love hearing from readers.

I don’t write much about books but I love reading about books. I’m finding it more and more difficult to find blogs that give detailed and honest reviews about books. That most things in life, reading is so subjective so I am sometimes baffled as to why people can be so hesitant to be honest when they don’t like a book for whatever particular reason. I wish you luck on your FB venture! 🙂
I love, love, love to read, but my book posts are usually author interviews. Meanwhile, I love to check out book blogs to get ideas about new authors and reviews. It’s also fun to check out new bloggers as well. Glad you did this, and you know had to sign up! (lol) Hugs…RO

I am always reading something. Love the idea behind this since most of my “in real life” friends don’t read so I enjoy talking books with my blogger friends! LOL. Off to join now 🙂

I think this is so awesome that you started a group like this! I don’t blog a lot about books I’ve read, but I do read some other blogs that do so I’ll make sure that they know about this!
Do you have to just be a book blogger to join?
Nope! If you talk about books in any way on your blog, you’re welcome to join! You can add non-book related posts.

What a great group idea, love how niche it is! I love reading, it’s definitely my way of escaping! Currently reading Harry Potter and it’s just SO good!
How fun! Books aren’t my focus, but I love sharing what I’m reading and learning about new books.

This is a great idea Lauren! In the past year or so I have really tried to cut down on my Facebook usage, but I need to make an exception for a fun, useful group like this one. I’m off to check it out now!

Great idea! Facebook is full of groups for readers in general but I have never seen anything exclusively for bloggers 🙂

Oh that’s super cool you’re starting a facebook community!! If I actually used facebook I’d ask to join ? but I’m literally never on there (twitter stole my soul haha). But it’s really awesome to bring people together so we can all support each other. 😀
I just requested to join the group. So many Facebook groups about books don’t allow links to blogs – it will be nice to actually see what people are blogging about!
