It might only be February 22, but Easter is fast approaching. It lands on Sunday, April 1 this year (yes, April Fool’s Day), so if you’re going to be grabbing some fun decor or gifts for people…you might want to get started now!
My family doesn’t usually do a lot on Easter; we’re thinking of possibly doing a brunch of some sort, but we’ll see. At any rate, I love all the fun things you can get to decorate or celebrate the holiday, so I thought I’d share some items that stuck out to me!

Any Easter plans?
It’s crazy how soon Easter will be here! When I was at the grocery store last weekend, Valentine’s Day was completely gone and it was all about Easter. I don’t do anything huge but I’ll probably make a small basket for my boyfriend and then we’ll go to church and have dinner with his family most likely.
Great list! Have you seen Peter Rabbit yet? I haven’t, but want to. There is quite the hub-bub surrounding it I hear.
I have not seen it, but I do want to! It seems cute and I love James Corden; his voice is perfect for animation. 🙂
Peter Rabbit was so much cuter than I originally thought it was going to be!! I’ve taken my niece to see it twice already! It’s a must see if you have little ones!
Oh yay, good to know!
I was just looking up what day Easter was going to be on this year. It will be here super soon.
I’ve never thought to decorate an Easter bunny house with my kids. We usually only decorate a gingerbread house at Christmas.
Great ideas! My family was big into Easter when we were kids, not so much anymore. Always gotta brunch though!
I don’t have any plans for Easter just yet. I haven’t decided if I’m going to make the trip home to Illinois to be with my family or not, but so far I have celebrated with a Reese’s peanut butter chocolate egg already. HA!
Easter is so early this year! I will make the kids Easter baskets and hide eggs for them. We usually do some sort of meal with the family as well.
Easter is early this year and that will be a very busy weekend for all of us. Everyone will get a chocolate easter bunny to start off the day.
They make the cutest baskets these days!!! I remember back when we were little, it was just a wicker basket with some fake grass. Now they make all kinds of different ones out of different materials and they are shaped like bunnies or characters. We don’t do a ton on Easter, just go to my in-laws for lunch and the older kids do an Easter egg hunt in the yard. I definitely use Easter as a good excuse to expand Zoe’s spring wardrobe and get a few toys for summer play!
I’ll be singing at my church in the morning and then doing brunch with our family. We will also put together a basket for Ollie to find in the morning. That’s about all we do for Easter. We celebrate Russian Easter with my husband’s extended family because his grandfather was Russian Orthodox, so that will be a bigger deal with a big meal and Easter egg hunt for the kids.
I would definitely put that Peter Rabbit candy in my daughter’s basket!
I know this is unrelated, but I had no idea you were doing a FebruHARRY! I love that! I normally reread those books around the winter holidays. I feel like that’s when they always started school, so it’s like I’m going with them.
Do You Dog-ear?
I’m currently reading Chamber of Secrets in the illustrated edition. It’s so cool! I love these editions.
I definitely need to start buying Easter stuff.
Not sure about the cutting board, although it would be cute to serve cheese and crackers on. I love the little cottage.
Great ideas! Easter is going to sneak up this year!
Love those ideas! I cannot believe March is upon us. Thanks for sharing.
The Easter Bunny house is adorable!
Great list! That Easter Bunny house is just too cute! I can’t believe it’s almost May.
We usually get a little house to decorate….I believe I usually buy it from Trader Joes. Their Halloween one is super cute btw! And those baskets are beyond adorable!! I usually make a french toast the night before, let it soak in the fridge over night, and then cook it the next morning. YUM! And then everyone comes over to our house and we hunt for eggs and just play outside….if we aren’t snowed in lol.
That’s awesome you get a house to decorate for Easter! Sounds like some fab traditions.
Easter is coming up so quick!! I love that Easter Bunny house.
Such great ideas!! Easter is such a fun time for everyone. Love the bunny house.
We don’t actually celebrate Easter at our house. We don’t have kids and while I have done an basket hunt for the Mister once when we were 20, I think we’ve outgrown that now that we are in our 30’s. LoL I do think those baskets are adorable, though.
My family doesn’t do much either, but with the nieces and nephew, we have them to spoil at least!
oh how cute are these little ideas 😀 I love the little house
I clicked the lot of the Lauren! We don’t really celebrate Easter, apart from stuffing ourselves with chocolate bunnies. It’s very much a religious holiday I feel. I absolutely love those golden bunny dessert plates though, I clicked to see how much shipping would be and they want $36.00. Good grief. Might hunt around for something similar that’s stocked here, what a gorgeous little plate for an afternoon snack <3
Aw, thanks! I appreciate all the clicks. And yeah, sometimes shipping is crazy!
Lovely ideas. I use to collet Peter Rabbit things for my children when they were small. Thanks so much for sharing your post with us at Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop. Have a great weekend and we hope to see you soon! #Weekendbloghop
I love the glasses from Pier 1 and the tree from Kohl’s. So cute!
I had some time to kill the other day and hit up the dollar store and Target’s dollar section to get some Easter basket fillers for my kids. I love those Easter plates!

World Market is so much fun to browse – they have great items for Easter baskets.
We don’t usually do much on Easter, but we do celebrate the holiday. I can’t believe it’s coming up already. Time really flies. :O
Have a great week! =)

That Peter Rabbit gummy candy is just too cute!
The carrot is so cute!

I've been seeing a lot of cute things at Joanne's that I would love to take home with me.
