Fall Bucket List

It’s FALL! This is seriously my favorite time of the year. I love Fall, I love Halloween. I’m not that big of a fan of Thanksgiving, but whatever! I love this season. Today, I’m happy to join some other bloggers in sharing our Fall Bucket Lists – or all the things we hope to do this Fall 2018!

Fall Bucket List

Fall goes from September 21 to December 21, so while it might start feeling like Winter the later it goes, it’s still Fall and I tried to keep that in mind with some of the items I put on my Fall bucket list!

1. Go to a Fall-themed festival
2. Watch Halloween movies
3. Read at least two Halloween-appropriate books!
4. Eat a caramel apple (or two!)
5. Go to Serendipity 3 when I visit NYC in November
6. Go to Halloween Haunt at King’s Island
7. Go to WinterFest at King’s Island
8. Visit the Cincinnati Zoo and see the lights
9. Make Christmas cookies
10. Go to a craft fair
11. Start working on my London/Harry Potter scrapbook
12. Read a holiday themed cozy mystery
13. Watch a movie outside
14. Paint my nails a fun fall color (since I didn’t do this in the summer!)

Have your own Fall Bucket List (or Spring if you’re on the other side of the world)?Β
Link up and I’d be happy to check out your post!

  1. This is a stunning list!
You must be so excited for your NYC trip in November! Enjoy fall and the cooler weather. We are going into spring now and it is still SO cold in the mornings and at night.
I hope you are going to do a post about your scrapbooking?
    Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. I didn’t do my nails this summer either, but I love the fall colors so much more so I’ll definitely be doing that one! Reading “scary” books and attending a fall festival are on my list too. Good luck with all of your goals!

  3. I am going to work on a fall bucket list this weekend, but I’ve already checked off a few items I’d have on it – picking out some colorful mums and getting a bushel of apples for baking. Hope you have a great weekend!

  4. RO

I love the crispness of the Fall season and the colors, but Halloween movies or scary books are definitely not my thing these days(lol) I like the idea of a Fall Festival though. Happy weekend! RO

  5. I’ve never been to a fall themed festival that I can remember, but that sounds like so much fun! I have eaten caramel apples though! Not only have I eaten them, I’ve made them, which is the best and you should absolutely try it if you can because you can put whatever toppings you want on them, and it’s delicious!

  6. Awesome list!! EEP, I didn’t know you were close to Cinci! I’ll be flying by you this week! My brother lives in Newport, just moved from OTR πŸ™‚ Yeah, he and his wife are DINKS so they can live there and not worry/afford it. I can’t wait to see his new historical place!! His old one was cool but the new one has central air o.O

OMG! You’re going to NYC in November? You’re so lucky!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you take lots of pictures, especially whatever it is you order at Seredipity!!! YUM!

    Have a great week!!

  7. It’s the time of year when I go on a cleaning frenzy, only this year I started during winter because I wanted to donate all my blankets and linen to charity for those who will need it during the colder months. Once it hits October, I start getting reading for Christmas Buying presents, collecting tableware and other assortments for the big day. I typically cook for the family without help, so it can take some planning and preparation. I’m stressed if I’m not able to have it all sorted by November. We don’t celebrate Halloween in Australia, it’s been years since we’ve had kids knock on the door but I keep buying lollies every year and end up eating them all myself β™‘β™‘β™‘ have a wonderful month Lauren and I hope you can get some of those goals ticked off!

  8. I love your list! I definitely want to watch lots of Halloween themed movies, have a pumpkin craving party, play around with hot chocolate recipes, photograph city in autumn and read more books than I did in summer πŸ™‚

  9. I love this time of year, too! The changing colors of the leaves the crisp bite of cold in the air, and yes, the scary movies! I have nightmares when I watch a bunch, but I do love scary movies. Good luck on checking off all on your to-do list, Lauren! πŸ™‚

  10. I love festivals but don’t go to many fall- themed ones. Would love to though, that’s a great idea. And some Halloween- appropriate books, definitely. I think a fall themed cozy or two would be fun also. And Christmas cookies? Yum.

  11. Yay!! You have such a great list. I want to come do everything with you. Love that you are going to scrap London and Harry Potter. My sister and I scrapbook together via Skype. Does your sister scrap?
I bet Christmas at King’s Island is pretty cool. Our little zoo does some special stuff at Christmas, too. Maybe I will check it out. Anxious to sample your Christmas cookies!
