Happy February, everyone! Any fun plans this month? Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day or even Galentine’s Day?
Currently: February 2023
Loving: the TV show The Rookie. I’m not someone who watches a ton of TV, so I’d been taping this past season of The Rookie for awhile without watching them. In the last couple weeks, my mom and I got caught up and I’m just loving it. I think all the women on the show are simply amazing!
Feeling: all sorts of different things. Annoyed when my sinus issues act up. Happy that I finally got to check out a myofascial release yoga class and I’m enjoying it. Angry about what happened in Memphis.
Posting: I will be posting (as in post office) some Valentine’s Day gifts to friends. I have a group of BookTok friends and I decided to get them all a book from their wish list as well as a couple other goodies. Hopefully I can get those in the mail this weekend so they get them before the holiday. Do you send out Valentine’s Day cards or gifts to anyone?
Receiving: lots of books, which I did a whole post on recently!
Seeing: hopefully some movies in theatres soon. I really want to see A Man Called Otto. My sister and I might go and see Missing soon. I’m curious about 80 to Brady because it just looks fun.

Is it wrong that it rubs me the wrong way that they changed Ove’s name for the movie? I bet they set it in the US too. I loved the book though and hope you enjoy the film when you get to see it
I would like to see A Man Called Otto too, even though I agree with the above comment that his name is Ove!
I want to see both of those movies too! My husband and I really enjoy The Rookie as well.
I think I’ll finish the book and then consider seeing the movie. I love Tom Hanks, so even if they screw up the story, I may like it.
I think it’s so sweet you’re sending our Valentine’s gifts 💜.
I want to see A Man Called Otto too! It looks really good and I love Tom Hanks. I’ll have to check out the Rookie. I never watched it and am looking for something to watch.
I agree about those who mentioned the change to Otto from Ove and I haven’t even read the book! I will probably see it at some time. I refuse to pay to see the 80 for Brady since I am not a Tom Brady fan. But I might watch it when it comes out on one of the streaming services I already pay for. I used to do Valentine’s day gifts for my niece and nephew, but not so much anymore.
OMG the sinuses lol Im going through that right now too and ugh.
We saw A Man Called Otto last week and really liked it.
We low key celebrate Valentine’s Day. Nothing big but maybe go out to dinner or give a small gift. Or nothing lol We’re so bad at holidays.

WAIT! A Man Called Ove got changed to A Man Called OTTO!?!?!? WHY!?!?!?!? That’s so wrong. We usually don’t do anything for Valentine’s because it’s honestly one of my least favourite holidays…
I want to see A Man Called Otto too! I loved the book and I think Tom Hanks will make a great Otto/Ove. I also want to see Plan and Megan- so some VASTLY different genres to catch lol
