Holiday Bucket List

Every new season I join a group of bloggers for a Seasonal Bucket List – check out my Fall Bucket List update– but since the official start of Winter isn’t until December 21, the lovely Leslie decided to do a mini Holiday Bucket List. This includes all the holiday specific things that you’d like to do, since most of them will probably happen before the official start of Winter. I actually included some of these Winter type of activities on my Fall Bucket List, so I’m going to share some new things that I hope to do!

My 2018 Holiday Bucket List

  1. Host my annual Cookie Exchange party
  2. Drive around and see Christmas lights
  3. Watch as many Holiday movies as I can
  4. Make a holiday themed craft
  5. Make a Gingerbread house
  6. Mail Christmas cards

Tell me, what holiday items do you hope to accomplish in December?Β

  1. Your list sounds like so much fun! Gingerbread house? YUM!
I’m really in the festive mood – we are putting up our tree and decorating today – cannot wait.
This looks likes so much fun – I want to link up too! Will do it early next week πŸ™‚

  2. The list is really sweet. I’d love to make a Gingerbread house one day and make a craft. I think I’d like to try it next year. I’m planning on reading, blogging, sewing, drawing, and watching as many Christmas movies as possible. So basically I want to work on all my hobbies as well as watch Christmas movies which I already starting doing in November. If you get to make the Gingerbread house I would love to see a picture.

  3. Making a Gingerbread house is one of my goals this Christmas too! I wanted to make one from scratch so will need to research some how to videos on Youtube to see what I’ll need for decorations and to hold the house together. They look adorable on the table on Christmas day. Most of my goals this month are blog related, trying to finish as many 2018 releases as possible on my review list from publishers and try to stay busy. My little furbaby isn’t well and is undergoing heart tests which is really upsetting. Hopefully we’ll have a good outcome.

Fun list! Christmas lights are the best. So far I have a tree up and the outside decorated. Lots of shopping done too. I have been productive, now it’s time to spice it up with some Holiday fun πŸ™‚

  5. Great list! I love driving around and seeing the lights πŸ™‚ I also love making cookies with my mom and decorating the tree and forcing my husband to watch Christmas movies with me! Hahaha!

  6. My holiday bucket list would include a lot of things that I want to get done during my break from school. Like books I want to get read before the end of the year. I am planning to try to make a recipe from someone at my part time job. Every year he brings in rum balls for the people at work. I finally asked for the recipe a few years ago, and now this year I’m going to try to make them this week I think!

  7. Oooo, a gingerbread house! I have never ever done that. Maybe I can talk PC into humoring me and doing that with me. Thanks for the great idea. Hope you will share photos of yours in your holiday bucket list update.

And of your cookie swap, too. With recipes!!!

  8. I want to go to a cookie exchange party! Have a great time.
I frantically try to watch all the Christmas movies I can every year too. I never watch as many as I want to, but I keep trying!
