I know, I’m super late with this one. Glossies Made Me Do It is my monthly feature (every second Friday of the month) where I share what magazines have inspired me to do, see, read, think about, etc. Normally I have a link up for anyone else that wants to share, but I’m skipping it this month. If you happen to have a post, let me know, and I can create a link up.
November 2020: Woman’s Day
Woman’s Day is a new-ish subscription for me, but I have to say, I’m a fan! One of my favorite parts is in the beginning of the issue where they talk about national holidays. These can be all-month long celebrations (November is Peanut Butter Lover’s Month) or ones that take place on a certain day (Sundae Day was this past Wednesday, November 11). I love the idea of celebrating these fun, little holidays, so I created a new Instagram.
Glossies Made Me Do It: Holiday Every Single Day
I created my Instagram account last month, but it wasn’t until the beginning of November that I finally started to post. It’s obviously still growing and I’d like to do more fun and imaginative posts as I go along. For now though, I’d love if you’d follow me.
I am Holiday Every Single Day and I’m trying to post as often as I can. When something is a National holiday, it probably means it’s only in the U.S., but that doesn’t mean people from other countries can’t follow along! You might just learn something new. I definitely want to try and include more facts, because I’m a big trivia nerd.
If you ever want to see me feature a specific holiday – or month long “holiday” – please let me know. I will definitely do my best to make it happen.
The newest issue of Woman’s Day actually introduced me to National Deviled Eggs Day – which is November 2. I happened to have the perfect photo for it, which I was excited about! I want to do more actual photos and not just images I’ve designed in Canva, but it’s a work in progress!

Love Woman’s Day Magazine and I’ve seen a few others who focus on special days of the month too. I’m thrilled to see that you added a new account on the ‘Gram, and you already know I jumped on board because I love your posts so much! Hugs and Happy Weekend to you! RO

What a brilliant idea Lauren and so much fun! It would be amazing to see holiday everyday going global and celebrating other cultural holidays as well. I love talk like a pirate day personally, it gets on your nerves after a while though. Will you be starting a Twitter account as well?
