Use Rakuten for Easter and Spring
Easter is on Sunday, April 12 this year, which isn’t too far away. Whether you celebrate Easter or not, I wanted to share some gift ideas or websites you can check out. Use these things for Easter or just for the Spring! What’s especially exciting is that you can visit all of these websites via Rakuten. If you don’t have an account with Rakuten already, I highly recommend it. Who doesn’t want some cash back when buying online?
Real quick – this is how it works! You sign up for Rakuten, and within 90 days, make a purchase of at least $30. If you signed up using someone’s affiliate link, they will then get $30 as well as YOU. So yes, it’s totally worth it to sign up and at least make one qualifying purchase. After that, various websites give a certain percent back when you order, no matter how much you spend.
If you don’t have an account, then I would absolutely love for you to use my affiliate link:

Now let’s get to the Easter and Spring items/websites to keep in mind this year!
New Books
Whether you are shopping for yourself or want to add some books to your kid’s Easter Basket, there are a few websites that work with Rakuten.
Book Depository: Free worldwide shipping, they also have a lot of books from the UK
Barnes & Noble: Always a classic!
Book Outlet: Free shipping when you spend $35, so if this is your first purchase, spend enough to get free shipping and you’ll get $30 from Rakuten. It’s almost a free order! Book Outlet has a variety of great priced books, but also some craft kits, stationary, tote bags, and more.
Books-A-Million: Not a website I use, but I need to check it out more as it has some good deals and lots of non-book items too. I don’t have a BAM near me, so I would have to rely on the website.
Yummy Food
Grab one of these for an Easter party, or just to enjoy!
Gold Belly: I love this website because you can buy all sorts of food items from across the United States. I’ve used it to get Magnolia Cupcakes from NYC. There is even a section to look at free shipping options.
Cheryl’s Cookies: Absolutely some of my favorite cookies. I really like how they offer cookie cards too, which are about $5/$6 each so you can order one of these as just a fun way to say hello to a friend. They have various box/card options for the holidays, get well, thank you, etc.
Edible Arrangements: I love chocolate covered fruit, and you can find all sorts of arrangements for your get-together or to use as a gift.
The Popcorn Factory: Some of my favorite popcorn, and I love that you can go big or small. I got a box recently that had mini bags of a bunch of flavors and they were so fun to try!
Jelly Belly: You can’t forget jelly beans for Easter! They make perfect Easter basket stuffers. Plus, if you have a Harry Potter fan in the family, they have a lot of fun options.
Olive Garden Gift Cards: Did you know you can get a bit of money back by purchasing an Olive Garden gift card? I will happily take one!
Flowers & Gifts
These can all be used for Easter decorations or gifts, but they are also just great for Spring parties, birthdays, and weddings.
1800Flowers, ProFlowers, The Bouqs Company, Flowers by Florists.com, and more: These are all great places to look at if you are looking for some pretty flowers! Tis the season, right?
Shutterfly: Create a personalized photo gift or put together an album of photos.
Kendra Scott: I’ve never gotten anything from here, but I hear her jewelry is amazing.
Lovepop: I love this website! They have the cutest pop-up cards.
Oriental Trading Company: This is a great place to get party favors and supplies. If you have a birthday coming up, or you’re hosting a classroom/library party, or just want some fun Easter things for your kids to do, this is the place! They have a lot of licensed themes and characters too.
Subscriptions
Why yes, you can even get discounts and cash back on certain subscriptions! Here are some that I think would be good for the season or upcoming holidays.
Ancestry.com: Maybe you’re getting together with family for Easter, and you want to do some more research!
BarkBox: Treat man’s best friend too!
Cratejoy: I love this website for finding new subscription boxes and services. This would be a great place to search for a unique gift.
Disney+: If you don’t have this streaming service already, this might be a good time to surprise your family.
Pretty Litter: Treat your cat! I get this litter for my cat and it works well.
Other Reasons to Use Rakuten
You can actually use Rakuten in some stores, so be sure to keep an eye out. Even if you don’t buy a lot online, this is still an option for many stores in-person.
Along with getting money back, the website offers a lot of deals too so you can find coupons and discounts by browsing the website.
Each website has a set percent that they give back per order, BUT there are oftentimes they do a double cash back deal or something similar where you’ll get more back if you shop with specific stores!
Do you use Rakuten? Will you sign up now? Any of these stores sound good to you?
Great ideas! I’ve been using Rakuten for years 😊
I never realized exactly what Rakuten was for! Thank you so much for sharing this! I’ll have to look into it, especially for things like The Book Depository.
This is excellent! Thanks for sharing this. I can’t believe it is Spring and we are talking about Easter coming up. I think time flies faster than we realise.https://www.bauchlefashion.com/2023/03/controversy-surrounding-discontinuing.html
I love Edible Arrangements too! Ohh, I’ll have to check out Gold Belly. I’ve used Door Dash to get Magnolia in NYC cupcakes before (they had a $20 off coupon!), but maybe it’ll be cheaper through Gold Belly.

I’ve never heard of this but it does sound like a neat idea. I’ll look it over. Thanks for sharing, Lauren!
