Show Us Your Books: In Which Not All Have Been Reviewed…

Posted January 10, 2017 by shooting in Uncategorized / 27 Comments

It’s time for Show Us Your Books with Jana and Steph. I’m going to show off some of the books that I read in the previous month. Normally I link to my reviews, but I haven’t reviewed all of these. However, I will link to Amazon. I’m part of amazon associates, so if you buy something, I get a small percent.

The Ones I Have Not Reviewed

Jessica Jones:Alias – these were all really good. I still need to finish the first season on Netflix, which I’m also loving. The comics/graphic novels are very different, but I still enjoyed them.

Buy them on Amazon-

Ms. Marvel – I’ve only read the first three volumes so far, but they are fun! The MC is a Muslim American and the book is full of diversity. The MC is also a teen, though, so it’s definitely focused on teen “issues” like friends, family, dating, and school.

  1. What a great idea for a post! I usually only read 1-2 books a month though, so I just post about them in my Currently post. I wish I had time to read more!!!!!

  2. I love the Jessica Jones tv series!! I think that one has been my favorite of the Netflix marvel shows. And wow you read a lot of books in a month! Go you!

  3. It's obvious (and kind of scary) from this post just how much I actually rely on book covers to initially inform me about a book.

Thanks for the links whether they be to your reviews or amazon.

  4. Wow, you got some reading done! I fell seriously behind last month. I enjoy reading picture books as well. I like to see what's out there for kid readers. And the illustrations are always sweet.

  5. I've been in a reading slump so I've been all caught up in my reviews but not my reading. LOL

Oh these look good. I'm glad you liked Jessica Jones on Netflix. I really liked those and then went onto Luke Cage. I may have to check out the graphic novels. I did look up to see what was different on the net since I hadn't read the comics. I have a feeling I will like the Netflix show a bit better.

  6. I love how much my TBR list has grown over the years–I always hate when I finish a great book and have no idea what to start next, and haven't had that problem in a while. Love to see what's on your reading shelves 🙂
