Well, I never ended up doing any updates on my combined Spring and Summer Bucket List, but I did cross some items off so I figured I’d at least do one big update before we enter Fall.
* Eishaus: Yes, I got their 3-way ice cream where it looks like spaghetti, chili, and cheese. I mean, they are known for their spaghetti looking ice cream. It was fun, and it tasted good!
* Sugar n Spice Diner: No, but I still want to go soon.
* Dari-Bar: Yes, I made it there once! Always a summer classic.
* Oakley Kitchen Food Hall: No, but hopefully soon.
* Hathaway’s Diner in downtown Cincy: Again, I did not, but hopefully soon.
Festivals–
* Taste of Cincinnati (May 28-30): Yes, it was a lot of fun. We went early to beat the really bad heat.
* Cincinnati Pride Festival (June 25): Unfortunately no, but it was a really HOT day.
* Taps, Tastes, and Tunes Festival (July 1-3): No…
* Attend at least one church festival: Again, no. I was going to go to one but didn’t feel well.
Friends–
* Favorite Things Party: Yes, it was fun! And I still need to make some posts on these.
* Outdoor Movie Night at a Friend’s House: No, but hopefully this Fall.
Family–
* Crafternoon at home: Nope, but maybe when the weather gets cold
* Attend one library craft event with my mom: Yes, we made these cute light up centerpieces
* Go to King’s Island: Not yet, but we like the Fall and Winter events
* Go to Coney Island: Yes, I went a couple times actually
* See RENT at the Carnegie Theatre with my sister: Nope, unfortunately…
Fun–
* Drive-In Movie Theatre: Nope, but maybe in the Fall. It will be less hot!
* Swim at Night: Yes!
* Visit The Tome Bookstore in Cincinnati (grand opening in April): Not yet but I do still need to visit
* Women’s Wellness Day Camp (April 30th): Yes, my sister and I went. I ended up spending most of the day reading, which was nice. It got really cold though, so we left a bit early.
* Visit Purrfect Day Cat Cafe: No, but I really really hope to go soon.
* Movie Night on the Levee: No, but I want to go to the one at the end of September
That spaghetti dessert looks fun. I watch the kids baking show and I love when they make the imposter looking desserts.
Looks like you already have some fun ideas for fall!
Ugh! I’m sorry but that spaghetti, chili, and cheese ice-cream is just wrong 😂
A shame the Hard Rock Cafe wasn’t everything it might have been. Sadly yours is another name to add to the list of those who having visited any of the Cafes were either disappointed or hugely underwhelmed by the food/experience.
Hard Rock Cafe’s are always such fun to visit! From my experience, the food is never very good, but the atmosphere rules! 🙂 I hope you get to check off some more of these items soon 🙂
We have a cat cafe by us and we love it. They have really good coffee and desserts there too! We never do festivals and we should try one sometime! That 3 way ice cream is so fun! We had a Hard Rock Cafe here for many years and it closed! It used to have this watermelon BBQ sauce that was fun and I’d always get it!

Glad you were able to knock some things off your bucket list. That 3-way ice cream looks like a fun treat. 🙂
I can’t get past the ice cream that looks like spaghetti. lol You have lots to look forward to in the fall!
It’s sort of annoying how we have all these wonderful outdoor events in the summer, but it’s too hot to enjoy them. That spaghetti ice cream looks interesting. We used go to Hard Rock Cafe all the time when we visited the city, but I always found it too loud.
The heat really limited a lot of what we did this summer too. But you got a lot of fun things in!
We had a Hard Rock when I lived in FL and the food was surprisingly good. We used to go for dinner before a concert. Pricey though.

Looks like you got some things checked off! I’m not sure about ice cream that looks like spaghetti and chili, that freaked me out a little in the picture, lol. Can’t wait to see your Fall bucket list!
