Thanks for all the love on my Alice in April posts last month. Now that it’s May, it’s time to introduce my new theme: Spring Into King! All month long I will have some fab posts and giveaways celebrating all things Stephen King. That begins today, as I take part in the Life’s a Beach Giveaway Hop.
Once you are finished entering my blog’s giveaway, be sure to hop around and see what else is being offered up in the Life’s a Beach Giveaway Hop, hosted by the awesome The Kids Did It & The Mommy Island.
Spring Into King: Spooky Scratch Offs
Spooky Scratch Offs is an Etsy shop where you can find a different sort of scratch off poster. You might have seen some around where you scratch off boxes showing which classic novels you’ve read, or even which children’s books you’ve read. This shop only has a couple scratch off posters but I think they will interest a lot of people.
First, there’s the Disney Animated Movies Scratch Off Poster. This would be a fun one for families to do together! Give the poster with a Disney animated movie or two from the poster, and you have a great gift. This one is updated through Encanto, which comes out later this year.
The second option is the Stephen King Scratch Off Poster, where you can keep track of all the King novels you’ve read. Grab some books by Stephen King, add the poster, and voila – another awesome gift idea! This poster is updated through If It Bleeds.
Giveaway Time: 1 Stephen King Scratch Off Poster
- U.S. only
- must be 18+ to enter or have parental consent
- Giveaway ends on May 18th
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged items once the poster has been shipped

The Shining
Do you know that I’ve never read a single Stephen King book?? Well I shouldn’t say that… he had a book on writing that I read years ago that was fabulous and he actually credited his wife for saving “Carrie” because apparently he threw the whole manuscript in the trash! Anyway I love the theme of this!

I’ve read quite a few Stephen King books. The scariest I thought was Pet Semetery, My favorite – The Shining was excellent, Carrie was my first and made me a King fan.
I have watched some of the movies based on his books, but not any of the books. I am a wimp. I usually have to watch them at home so I can leave frequently!
I have read about 15 books by his! My all time favorites are The Dark Tower and It! 🙂
At one point I had read all of Stephen King’s books, but over the last 10 years or so, I’ve gotten behind. Love this poster idea! My favorite will always be It.
I have read almost all of them. My favorite is The Stand. I’ve read it at least a dozen times or so.
Christine was my favorite.
