A VERY Important Note: Please Read

I got an email from Samantha of Harlequin Twilight’s Book Blog about a possible “scam” or “virus” (we aren’t sure) that says it’s coming from me. I have no idea about this but she wanted you all to be warned so I copied her email below to see what she says about it:

Hey,
I just wanted to let you guys know that you may want to warn your readers. A few days ago I got an email from someone with the email Angela Buba (angela.buba AT yahoo dot com) and it turned out to be spam, but they are disguising their link with a Shooting Stars Mag link. It looks like a SSM link, until you click on it and it takes you to a website called Aviastar…which is a helicopter website (or so it says on google). I don’t know why they would be doing this, but I just thought I would let your guys know. Thanks!

  1. Thanks for posting this! I don't open emails unless I'm 100% sure of who it's from and what it's about. I go to the blog it's supposedly from before I even consider opening it just to see if there's any reason why I'd be recieving an email from them. Don't wanna crash the computer!

  2. Pam

I've gotten a few of those e-mails supposedly from you. I never went to the website though. Opened it in safe mode to read that someone wanted to be my friend or something.

  3. I have received some of those as well. They would post your link saying they got my email off your blog. I never clicked the link though. Just marked as spam and deleted. It is pretty sad that some people have nothing better to do than sit around spamming other people and infecting there computers with viruses. Sick freaks!

  4. I got one too…but most of that type go straight to my junk mail. This one I think I deleted out of my inbox. I'm glad someone reported it to you!
