Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that
spotlights upcoming releases people are excited for.
Hello everyone! Alicia here. I’m finally getting back to reading and reviewing after being away for the past months due to personal reasons. I’m really happy to be back! Anyways, this week I’m waiting on:
Title: Requiem
Author: Lauren Oliver
Publisher:
HarperCollins
Format:
Hardcover, 432 pages.
Release Date:
March 5, 2013
Summary:
transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has
ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the
fight.
After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the
Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have
opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of
Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels,
and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend,
Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancée of the young
mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two
girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their
stories converge.

A book eagerly awaited by lots of bloggers it seems, I hope it lives up to all your expectations.
I wasn't a fan of Delirium and didn't read past that book, but I know how exciting it is to finish a series. Hope you enjoy this one and that it all ends just the way you'd like it to. Nice pick!
I have only read the first, but liked it.
Hope you get to read it soon!

I am ACHING for this book to come out!!
I still have not read this series. I avoided it due to the cliffhangers but now I think I will give it a go!
I still need to read that first one. Looks like I need to get on it and get that book! Then, I'll join you in wanting this one. 🙂
Oh ME TOO!! Lauren Oliver is the Queen of terrible cliffhanger endings that leave you reeling and wanting for sooo many long months. Glad the wait is almost over! I honestly couldn't say if I like Alex or Julian better though…
I've only read the first book and am thinking I might reread it once all the books are released in a row.
I read book 1. I always find it hard to finish a series, but I'd like to read all of these. I also hope the author writes some more contemporary. I loved Before I Fall.
So excited for this book. I LOVE Lauren Oliver! 🙂
Omg I so have to read this series! I feel so alone! lol
I am looking forward to this, too! I can't wait to find out how the series ends
