Welcome to the first ever Keep it Together link-up with myself and Alexandra from Simply Alexandra. Join us every Third Thursday of the Month to share any planning or memory keeping posts you’ve done. We’d love to have you! You can find the linky below – it’s the same on both of our blogs, so you only need to link up once!

If you’ve been reading my blog, then you know that I’ve dubbed this month #FebruHARRY2018 so I immediately knew that for this planner post, I had to share something HP related! I have a couple different planners this year but one of them is the large Happy Planner that you can find at Michael’s stores. I love all the different covers their planners have, but what’s awesome about the Happy Planners is that everything can be removed, and you can add your own covers, inserts, etc. One way to find these items is by searching Etsy…which is where I found Stylish Planner.

Harry Potter Planner

After looking through all the Wizard themed covers, I decided to go with the Hogwarts Bound planner cover because you could personalize the skin tone and the Hogwarts house you wanted. There are versions for light and dark skin for each of the four houses. I went with light skin and the Slytherin cover. The above photo is my actual cover on my planner! Looks great, doesn’t it?

Here is a look at the back of my planner. The front and back are two separate pieces that you add to the rings. The back is really simple, but with 9 3/4 quarters on the very bottom. I like that there isn’t a ton going on, since you tend to pay more attention to the front of your cover anyway!

There are a variety of cover sizes, depending on your planner. I went with the HP (11 discs) which fits a large Happy Planner – there are other HP sizes too, as well as some for the Erin Condren and Recollections planners. Prices vary on size, of course, but mine was $16.50, and I did buy this cover. I’m just reviewing it here because I think the design is beautiful and fun and I wanted to let people know that you can do more than just decorate the inside of your planners!

I don’t have a post like this and haven’t run across your link party before. Wonderful idea. Wish I had something to share.

  2. I love that you made it your own, I would totally do that! I will have to remember there is an Etsy shop for doing that. I’ve been using a school year planner to keep up with my son’s schedule, so I will be getting a new one in June, I’ll remember this!

  3. I keep feeling like I need a smaller planner JUST for blog stuff. Because it doesn’t really matter what my day to day is, but maybe if I had something for only blogging I’d feel more organized.

I put all my planner stuff in my “life” planner and I love it. Maybe a medium sized planner? Small is great but there isn’t a lot of room to write if you write bigger.

  4. How gorgeous Lauren, super cute! I love how you an buy covers and change them based on your mood. I’ve just started journalling but that’s a bit advanced fr me just yet, waiting to see if I stick with it. Fingers crossed. I’d love to see your latest planner spreads <3

  5. Oh! I have a post and totally spaced out on linking up, whoops. Will do that now. 🙂 I also have a Happy Planner so that is awesome to hear that you can get custom ones. How cool!

  6. I have an EC planner and I love that the front and back covers come off and you can change them out! I got a Christmas cover for Christmas last year and I can’t wait to use it this year (not that I even want think about Christmas for awhile! Lol!). Yours is so perfect for you! I didn’t even know you could buy covers on Etsy!!

I love all the planner stuff you can get on Etsy! I didn’t know either for awhile, but it’s been fun combing through the pages and seeing what’s out there from stickers to bookmarks, etc.
