Posted November 8, 2023 by shooting in Discussion / 3 Comments

Back with another auction – this book will be annotated and it’s open to International bids! Read on for more details, and don’t forget to check out the previous auctions that might still be open.

Up for Grabs: One annotated copy of A Portrait of Pride by Naomi Rachel Kelly

Official Summary:

However will Margo survive the season?
After a chance encounter leaves Miss Margaret Radcliffe indebted to her nearest neighbour, Lord Livingston, she agrees – albeit begrudgingly – to act as muse and model for the seasonal portraits he has commissioned.

The painter, Mr Smith, despises the high society he works for, and when he learns young Margo is entering her debut season, he endeavours to make his many opinions known.

Forced to spend endless time together over the course of a year, Mr Smith and Miss Radcliffe must learn to put their pride aside and see the person who sits before them as they truly are.

How To Bid:

The first person who comments must bid at least $10. After that, the bids have to go up in at least $1 increments. You can always bid more though. More details on the auctions, bidding, and donating a book can be found here.

Who Can Bid:

Anyone – International

What Happens After the Auction:

The highest bidder will donate that money to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. I do not touch any of the money. The highest bidder donates, sends proof via email, and the book is then mailed out by myself or the author. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items once mailed. Myself, Lauren Becker, is not responsible for any authors not sending their book(s) but I have faith everyone involved will.

DEADLINE: You can now start bidding on A Portrait of Pride. It will end on Monday, November 13 at 9:59 p.m. EST – so don’t forget to check any last minute bids!!
