I tried to include a mix of books, and some for different ages, but definitely share your own picks in the comments!
I loved This Poison Heart! Need to read its sequel. There are a few others on this list that are on my TBR too. I recommend anything by Liselle Sambury, and also The Dark Place by Britney S. Lewis. Oh and I loved Highly Suspicious and Unfairly Cute by Talia Hibbert last year too. Thanks for sharing these!
I’ve only heard of a couple of these and I’ve only read With the Fire on High but I can say that was a favourite of mine, I actually listened to the audiobook and it was brilliant. Talia Hibbert is always a favourite author of mine and Therese Beharrie is a brilliant author who doesn’t get enough attention
Great choices. I’m a huge fan of Elizabeth Acevedo and Akwaeke Emezi. I see someone mentioned Talia Hibbert in the comments and she’s another fave.
