2019 Fall Bucket List

Posted September 22, 2019 by shooting in Discussion / 34 Comments

Today I am linking up with Leslie at Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After with our 2019 Fall Bucket Lists.Β

We’re just going to skip over my final Summer Bucket List update; I don’t think I crossed anything else off. Oh well, Fall is my favorite, so hopefully it will be a more fun and successful season! I know some people include all sorts of things on their seasonal bucket lists, and I’ve done that before, but I figured I’d bring it back to basics and make a bucket list that is all about Fall and Halloween favorites and events. Just all around fun things – no pressure.

  1. Have a Halloween movie night
  2. Eat a caramel apple
  3. See the movie IT: Chapter Two
  4. Go to a Fall/Halloween Festival
  5. Read at least two mysteries/thrillers
  6. Visit a craft show
  7. Watch a movie outdoors
  8. See the play Titus Andronicus at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company
  9. Attend library craft events with my mom
  10. Start planning/purchasing Christmas gifts – I want to start somewhat early.

  1. Is it bad that we have already started watching all our Halloween movies? πŸ˜› I love this time of year! I definitely want to carve pumpkins this year and bake the seeds as well, we haven’t done that in a really long time!

  2. Great list, I especially like the Halloween movie night one. I want to see It: Chapter Two as well, but might wait for it to come out on rental. I’m sharing my fall TBR tomorrow, which definitely has a few mystery/thrillers on it! Good luck with your list!

  3. YES to all the Fall things! I should’ve added read a thriller/mystery book to my list too because there is something about Fall and the chill in the air and wanting to cuddle up with a book like that. And I should take a cue from you on getting prepared for Christmas now so I’m not scrambling later!

  4. Ooh a Halloween movie night sounds fun! So does a fall or Halloween themed festival. I love stuff like that.

Awesome list. Hope you have a great fall. πŸ™‚

    • Me, too, Christie!!

Love your list, Lauren. Movie outside? How does that work?? I am assuming not a drive-in. Eat a caramel apple? Yes!! And a candy apple, too. I so want to write an addendum to my list. Everyone has such great things on theirs.

Always love the projects you and your mom do through the great public library program up there. Wish I could get a job doing that here! Will be looking forward to seeing what you create.

Thank you SO MUCH for joining me, sweet angel. It touched my heart!!

A lot of places around me having outdoor movies – they set up a screen and you watch. It’s usually in a park or a cemetery!

  5. I feel like we all kind of bombed on our summer bucket lists this year, but thank god it’s fall and we can start all over again. I’m so partial to this time of year and all the things there are to do in the autumn. Would love to read another great mystery and eat a caramel apple and go apple and pumpkin picking!

  6. Great list! So smart to get started on Christmas shopping too… I really ought to do that as well. I love reading mysteries this time of year as well.

  7. I love fall crafts, so I am sure the library fall events will be fun. I’d love to hit up a fall festival, too, I haven’t been to a festival in ages. I have had a few caramel apples already, tho! πŸ™‚

  8. I absolutely love craft shows and craft markets, I’m fascinated by hand made items, which is why I love when you and your mum attend sessions at your local library and get creative. I love to make thing or learn how to do something myself. I never write mini bucket lists but I’m thinking I might start with a monthly goal too, a few things I’d like to try it achieve. It might push me out of my comfort zone which I’ve been stuck in for so long now.

Bucket list or goals – they are kind of the same thing, so whatever works best for you. I love being creative too!

  9. Ooh yes to reading some mystery books/thrillers. It’s been a while since I read a detective book but I just got my hands on The Scholar (follow up to The Ruin by Dervla McTiernan), and I’m loving it. Latest thriller-ish book I loved was Joshilyn Jackson’s Never Have I Ever. And a fall festival sounds like the perfect thing to have on your list too!

One thing on mine is to bake something with apples – just picked up a bunch at the farmer’s market, so now I need to decide on a recipe πŸ™‚
